May 31, 20242 yr Author  Missed the top 40 this week? Rag'n'Bone Man What Do You Believe In? 1st single from forthcoming studio album Released: 23rd May 2024 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Video cQWOc8I__aw Biography As a bearded bloke with a great big voice trading under the unabashedly old-fashioned name of Rag’n’Bone Man, Rory Graham shattered the mold for music stars who broke out of the UK in the 2010s. Then again, he was bound to break something given the power that pours out of him on “Human,” his debut single in 2016. The fusion of blues and hip-hop established the singer/songwriter—born in 1985 in the English town of Uckfield—as one of the decade’s most unique new arrivals. It’s also an arresting showcase for the booming baritone that Graham himself was surprised to discover when he tried singing a Muddy Waters song at an open mic in the mid-2000s. Until then, he’d spent his teenage years rapping for hip-hop and drum ‘n’ bass crews in his hometown. His take on vintage blues—as well as soul and funk, two words he has tattooed on knuckles—still reflects his love of the more modern sounds and sensibilities provided by collaborators like producer Two Inch Punch a.k.a. Ben Ash on Rag’n’Bone’s 2017 debut album Human. With “Giant”—a 2019 match-up with Calvin Harris—Graham got another chance to show how his old-school gusto and soulful delivery can heighten a song’s intensity without overwhelming it or blunting its pop appeal. Even with all of Graham’s potential force, he knows the value of restraint, too. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2016 02 Human -1- MILLIONAIRE 2017 13 Skin -2- MILLIONAIRE 2018 83 Grace (We All Try) -3- 2018 55 Run (Bugzy Malone feat. May 31, 20242 yr Author 40 | 36 | 5th week Tems Love Me JeJe 3rd single from Born in the Wild Released: 25th April 2024 Label: RCA Records / Since 93' The superstar reimagines Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic. - Apple Music Chart Statistics NE (09/05/2024) | 58-52-45-36-40 Sales: 40k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 80 Sales 66 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video 2swLTgwi50A Biography Nigerian singer Tems crafts weighty songs that manage to float, with velvety vocals that unfurl through lyrics imbued with emotional depth. They have made her a leader in Nigeria’s alté music movement, which blends Afrobeats, alternative R&B, hip-hop, and dancehall. Born Temilade Openiyi in 1995 in Lagos, the former Apple Music Up Next artist knew she was destined to make music. At age 6, Tems was creating original songs; at 13, she began vocal training. “By the time I was 17, I knew that this was the only thing that I could possibly do in life,” she told Apple Music. In 2018, her first single, the revelatory “Mr Rebel,” was an immediate runaway hit. Her appearance on fellow Nigerian Wizkid’s beloved 2020 single “Essence” increased Tems’ visibility and brought more attention to her debut EP, For Broken Ears. Led by the undulating “Free Mind,” the project cemented Tems as a rising star not only throughout Africa but worldwide. In 2021, she released her follow-up, If Orange Was a Place, which was highlighted by the Brent Faiyaz-assisted “Found.” An emotive guest feature on Future’s 2022 single “Wait for You” has kept Tems in the spotlight—but she remains grounded by her experiences. “At every single point in my life, I’ve had to break out,” she said. “I’ve had to break boundaries completely. Being yourself, it takes more courage than people would imagine.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2021 16 Essence (Wizkid feat. Tems) 2022 08 WAIT FOR U (Future feat. Within a few years of passing that audition, though, he was leading a different kind of congregation—the five million metalheads who bought The Sickness, the 2000 debut album from his band, Disturbed. Announced by the “oh-wah-ah-ah-ah” heard ‘round the world, the album’s breakout single, “Down With the Sickness,” injected nu-metal’s industrial-strength crunch with old-school hard-rock attitude, expanding the genre’s capacity for outsized angst while forsaking its hip-hop/electronic affinities for pure pummel. But while Disturbed will be forever associated with nu-metal’s millennial golden age, they’ve soundly transcended it. From 2002’s Believe up through to 2015’s Immortalized, Disturbed clocked five consecutive No. 1 albums, never losing their aggressive edge, but gradually revealing the full emotional breadth of Draiman’s growling-to-graceful vocal range and bringing their classic-rock influences to the fore. On Immortalized, the band scored the biggest international radio hit of their career with a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence,” recasting the ‘60s folk-pop ballad as a harrowing gothic hymn—a perfect emblem of this band’s capacity for transforming the sacred into the sacreligious. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2001 52 Voices -1- 2002 31 Prayer -1- 2002 56 Remember -2- 2005 88 Stricken -1- 2006 79 Land Of Confusion -2- 2016 29 The Sound Of Silence -1- MILLIONAIRE 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 0 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 6 x Top 100 Social Media Disturbed

Yet the band achieved something fresh and remarkably contemporary by merging emotive, engaging rock with melodies, textures, and rhythms drawn more from pop, hip-hop, and R&B. That synthesis reflects the unique background of The Script’s songwriting team of vocalist/guitarist Daniel O’Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan, who got their start together in the Irish boy band Mytown. They then worked in Los Angeles as a writing and production team for Britney Spears and Boyz II Men before returning to Dublin to form The Script with drummer Glen Power. Their breakthrough single in the UK and Ireland, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” demonstrated all they’d learned about constructing sticky songs as well as O’Donoghue’s flair for Bono-worthy dramatics. “Hall of Fame,” a 2012 collaboration with will.i.am, was further evidence of The Script’s ability to combine modern sounds in a way that felt organic and compelling. On 2017’s Freedom Child, they’d again strike a balance between their embrace of the now—the dancehall-infused feel of “No Man is an Island” being one irresistible example—and a warmth that evokes Van Morrison, another Irish musical hero and a key influence on The Script’s own brand of Celtic soul. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2008 15 We Cry -1- 2008 02 The Man Who Can't Be Moved -2- MILLIONAIRE 2008 21 Breakeven -3- MILLIONAIRE 2009 47 Talk You Down -4- 2009 96 Before The Worst -5- 2010 04 For The First Time -1- 2010 42 Nothing -2- 2012 01 Hall Of Fame (feat. will.i.am) -1- MILLIONAIRE 2012 32 Six Degrees Of Separation -2- 2013 20 If You Could See Me Now -3- 2013 91 Millionaires -4- 2014 49 It's Not Right For You -IG- 2014 03 Superheroes -1- MILLIONAIRE 2014 26 No Good In Goodbye -2- 2017 15 Rain -1- 2019 32 The Last Time -1- 1 x #1 | 4 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 11 x Top 40 | 16 x Top 100 Social Media The Script
