Posted June 7, 20241 yr Tonight we have got England v Iceland at 7:45 on Channel 4, I believe that this is Channel 4's last England game before the England games rights move back to ITV. What do you think the score will be? What do you think the starting XI will be? All comments and opinions are welcome.

Mainoo is way too raw, he makes some terrible decisions and plenty others just snatch at chances. The subs completely disrupted the game, which is to be expected, but probably shows our weakness too. You can say we've not had our best XI out currently, which I totally agree with, but some real dilemas for Southgate to deal with.

Wouldn't be too harsh on Mainoo he was MOTM vs Man City in a cup final we can't act like he's unequipped to handle Iceland’s midfield. England’s balance was just awful.

He is so overrated. Not saying he has not got potential, but I can see why United concede so many goals. He doesn't track back and his decision making at times is bonkers. It could be tactical, but my point is, he'd be nowhere near this England squad if he didn't play for Man Utd.
June 8, 20241 yr Kobbie Mainoo is one of the best young players in English football. He's produced good performances on a regular basis this season and has more composure at 19 than most players far older than him. He's not the reason why England can't beat Iceland.
