June 8, 20241 yr !!! Now that really is a crazy outcome, must be written in Buzzjack lore. Both songs were great, but I did like Meth Math a little more, congrats on the first win, Jade :cheer: Pleased with 7th foir myself, thanks for all the votes, I only discovered it very recently through one of my running playlists and the video with all the classic horror references is right up my street too. I do have a real soft spot for her Kawaii style in her music. A fab swerve from Meekul there, pleased it did so well. Quite a few of my votes were outside the top 10 otherwise but at least they did decently. I agree with Jonjo that this was very much a contest of two halves, but that first half definitely exceeded my expectations x Thanks for a great hosting job, uhsting!
June 8, 20241 yr Rob once again with the assist to Jade's collection of default wins, you cannot make it up *.* (This is definitely at least the 3rd time, possibly 4th, I forget x) I did give points to 'Ruoska' as well but it was such an obvious entry for the theme (and not half as good as 'Cha Cha Cha') so I am happier to see Meth Math taking the win, well done Jade for a first win here <3 Blusher really morphing from a MUNA clone to a Charli xcx clone for this one :kink: I did like this song more than their BJSC winner though, was ranked 12th for me. And LCD was 13th - I would never in a million years have called that finishing top 3 here but kind of iconic x Great to see PNAU top 5 and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Beagle Music and possibly Remi Wolf (pending tiebreak) in the top 10 as well! Gracias Meekul for the final mealworm point for Juliana, those last few small points helping me to at least cling onto the top half in the end, could be worse - I see all of the Spanish/Portuguese songs other than Meth Math ended up clumped together in midtable and me finishing the highest out of those so that's something! Like how did I give TWICE nearly half of their points??? 😵💫😵💫😵💫 the winner was among them so glad I could support it, congrats Jade :) Second: so far I’ve gotten a win in Unknown Pleasures, did well in Club Bizarre after struggling to find an entry throughout the confirmations period, and now a new peak here???
