I'm so confused how this works and feel like it will be a hot mess potentially, or it completely changes up the format and feels fresh and exciting. We will see lmao.

 

 

From what I've read we'll have 3 groups of 6 queens competing over 3 weeks in challenges. There are a top 2 each week and the person who wins the lip sync gets 3 points, the other person in the top 2 2 points and then the other 4 queens each get 1 point that they have to hand out to a different queen.

 

The scores are cumulative over the weeks and at the end of the 3rd week the top 3 queens of each group will merge into a cast to film the remaining of the season in a more usual format. There is a rumour there will be a lip sync smackdown episode of the remaining 9 queens that didn't go through to the normal part of the season to decide who will be the 10th queen on the cast.

 

I think it's really interesting and we'll get to see 18 queens doing various challenges over 3 weeks, plus those that don't make it lip sync possibly.

 

I'm so here for Irene being top 2 every week in her group *_* I knew she would slay. Although sad to see Olivia Lux not managing 1 week in the top 2, I thought she would do really well in an All Stars (could be that the challenegs weren't her cuppa tea).

Also has it ever happened that a queen has filmed an AS season right after their own season was filmed (in the case of Lydia?). I can't remember if Monet/Mo Hart filmed AS4 right after S10 or if they filmed a bit after S10 aired.

I agree snatch game shouldn't be a staple on Global All Stars or even any of the shows Ru hosts outside the US. I really wish we would have someone who got the references for UK snatch game as they would be able to volley better. For instance Michael as Catherine Tate as the characters from her show in UK S5 snatch game was so good. Would've been even better with someone who got the references to volley off or ask specific questions.

Hornella , Pakita and Pink Chadora from Drag Race España 3, their season hadn’t yet aired when they filmed All Stars. Happy to see Daya! :cheer: I'm a bit over Ginger tbh. We really shouldn't be having queens appearing for their 3rd All Stars when there are so many yet to go on for their first or even 2nd! Even though I know Ginger slays and does provide good entertainment in acting/comedy challenges. Plus she is a great lip syncer as well.

 

Omg I just know MIB slayed the HOT TO GO! lipsync *_* Ah can't wait for that lip sync.

 

And ooo so this will be a first for the US All stars season then! I assume the season will air after Season 17. Hopefully Lydia does well on S17 to

Tbh I genuinely feel that Ginger should have said no when asked. There's loads of queens that deserve a boost to their profile and haven't already a) been a finalist twice b) been on All Stars twice c) been on THREE seasons already.

 

Like, her first season was season 7, that isn't even a decade ago.

I don’t mind queens coming back again and I feel like Ginger doesn’t quite get her flowers for being a legend from the show but I do think if a queen has already had their All Stars redemption, they should be on a Vs The World or maybe GAS. Like Eureka or Alexis for example on CanvTW2. Ginger coming back on AS6 was fine to redeem AS2 but there is nothing to redeem for Ginger. I can’t see her winning either, I don’t think they’d bring back the likes of Bosco and MIB just to crown Ginger.

I kinda want an MIB win. We still haven't had a plus size queen win either a normal or all stars season and MIB is probably the best chance currently. Her & Irene are going to be rotted when together after the merger and I can't wait :lol:

The worst thing of a cast like that is there's obvious glow up queens (Roxxy, Shannel) with a ready made storyline and yet you can just bet your bottom dollar the season's main characters that are thrown favoritism, wins, and challenges that suit them perfectly and no other will be Gottmik, Vanjie and Jorgeous.

Gottmik had the least badges and Jorgeous honestly could have had more wins, I don’t think they were favoured in the slightest

On a more serious note, I don't think Denali made it to the merge. She would be my first pick to come back to slay some lip syncs! Tina Burner could also be another good choice for return queen as she's fairly good at lip syncing as well!

 

 

Bringing back returning queens is a twist I like. I hope they keep it or bring it to another mainline season

Apparently it’s Alyssa’s turn for favouritism this week, she is leader/choreographer for her group and messes it up, also apparently Pythia is clearly the worst but they just throw Vanity in the bottom :lol:

With the eliminations of Miranda, Eva and Gala looming, I predict the reactions will be MES-SY!
