Derby County have sacked head coach Paul Warne with the Rams in the Championship relegation places and on a seven-match losing run.
Yeh strange decision as Blackburn are doing really well this season. Anyone know which club it is?

Blackburn Rovers have “reluctantly granted” their manager, John Eustace, permission to speak to fellow Championship side Derby County.

Eustace confirmed after Sunday’s 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Wolves that Derby had made an official approach for his services. The relegation-threatened Rams are seeking a replacement for Paul Warne, who was sacked on Friday.

Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard and Sky Blues performance analyst Connor Lawley have both been charged with misconduct following Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Burnley.

Former Chelsea and England legend Lampard was sent off by match referee James Bell after the final whistle.

Lampard "allegedly acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards a match official around the field of play after the final whistle which led to his dismissal".

Lawley "allegedly acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour around the tunnel area after the match had finished".

Burnley vs Sheff Utd promotion party is live on itv 1 this evening at 5!

Happy for Leeds even though they are a rival of Man Utd. Burnley not so much tbh, I can't say that I missed their presence in the Premier League this season. Just really hope now that Sheffield United don't win the play offs. We don't need what would basically be a repeat of 2023/24. The other teams in the mix for the play offs have either not been in the Premier League before or in Sunderland/Middlesbrough/Blackburn's case it's been many years since they were last there. So hopefully any team from Sunderland downwards get the last place instead.

Be nice to see a team from Bristol in the premier league, must be the biggest city who never had a premier league club.

One thing about Burnley is the club is a throw back in terms of classic football league club and a small town. Better than a London team.

It's certainly been a roller-coaster for Burnley over the last few years!

2021/22: We are going down, say we are going down

2022/23: We are going up, say we are going up

2024/25: We are going up, say we are going up

Leeds and Burnley have no chance next season with serial Premier league flops Farke and Parker (rhyming couplet!) in charge. Same for Sheff U if they keep Wilder.

West Bromwich Albion have sacked head coach Tony Mowbray after just three months of his second spell in charge.

The 61-year-old was dismissed after Monday's 3-1 home defeat by relegation-threatened Derby County - a loss that all but ends the Baggies' hopes of making the Championship play-offs.

The former Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough boss was reappointed as Albion head coach in January, almost 16 years after he left The Hawthorns for Celtic in June 2009.

He replaced Carlos Corberan who left the club to take over at Spanish top-flight side Valencia with the Baggies then sitting seventh in the table.

But Mowbray has led the club to just five wins in his 18 games in charge and they are six points off the play-off spots in 10th place with two games to play.

While the club can mathematically still make the top six, it would take a unlikely set of results for them to have a chance.

Supporters of Sunderland and Middlesbrough have far too much of a sense of entitlement, despite the fact that they have won nothing for decades. I would prefer to see someone else go up.

Leeds are a cert to go down. Burnley will be interesting as they might try and buck the norm and play defensive which could work in this current era of athleticism and a high press.
