The civil war in what's left of the Tory party is going to be epic. I can't really see a figure like Starmer who would command enough respect to be a 'unity' candidate either. Could be looking at 10 years of Labour government.

July 5, 2024Jul 5 BBC forecast has changed a bit again: Labour: 410 seats Conservative: 144 seats Liberal Democrat: 58 seats Scottish National Party: 8 seats Reform UK: 4 seats OTHER: 26 seats Labour & Lib Dems up slightly with conservatives down slightly. If the Labour/Lib Dem gains continue the way they are I can see the numbers adjusting again accordingly.
