Friday at 00:204 days Harry's in the cover of Spotify's Hot Hits UK playlist. "Aperture" is at #3, while "American Girls" is at #18. The latter, which is the the focus track during the album's release week, appears in a bunch of Spotify's New Music Friday playlists.
Friday at 09:404 days I can see the album going number 1 next week but I can’t see the first week sales being as big as its predecessor Harry’s House Edited Friday at 10:434 days by Hadji
Friday at 10:424 days I can see it having bigger sales week 1 tbf its whether its will be strong enough to have as much longevity, only on track 2 and American girls is better than aperture
Friday at 10:474 days Harrys House opened with 113k I believe? This will be an easy number one for him but I'm thinking around 70k!
Friday at 10:494 days This is Radical Optimism all over again. Harry hun, how are you referencing electronic music, LCD Soundsystem, Floating Points, Jamie XX, having these incredible supporters on tour... and then this is the final productI was excited by 'Aperture' and thought he was ready for his experimental/music-for-the-art-not-the-charts era, however this is mostly just another Harry Styles album, meandering ballads included, but without the hooks. There are moments where you can hear the LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip influence, but they're just production flourishes. He could have gone so much harder with this. booIt's dull pleasant. I struggle to see this really satisfying anyone though
Friday at 11:064 days I’ll be totally honest the only people this is going to satisfy are his stans that convince themselves they have to love anything and everything he does no matter how mediocre it is. I was so excited for this era with Aperture and I do still love that and the intrigue it brought to the table about what other directions he can go in, but beyond one or two this is just… an incredibly dull album.
Friday at 11:184 days Are you listening yet ? Was my standout other that that not much else jumping out on first listen. Maybe after a few more listens I might but im not holding my breathe
Friday at 13:073 days The album is ok. I still enjoy Aperture and thought it was a brave single and that the hits would be on the album but it's hard to identify any major smashes on here.Agreed that Are You Listening Yet? is decent, and Coming Up Roses is a pretty ballad. I enjoyed Paint By Numbers too. Yet these songs could have been on his previous albums so the stuff that fits the sonic mood promised I am not really loving (e.g. Dance No More I'm just finding cringey).

I'm not quite loving the album like I thought/hoped I would, it's not baaad but I hoped it'd lean more into the electronic dance sound 'Aperture' had, and the couple of ballads also really throw me off the mood of it as well.
Friday at 15:413 days Weirdly I have found this way more instant than Harry’s House. Agree with others it’s not as experimental as maybe promised. But quite clearly there are a lot of influences. I kind of get the impression this album has been curated in line with the tour, which Aperture at the BRITs highlighted.Think the most obvious singles for me are American Girls and Pop.

Friday at 18:003 days First listen thoughts: I like it, its good but I think I need a couple more listens to gage how muuch I like it and how it stands up to his other albumsThe tracks that stood out to me was Ready Steady Go! Season 2 Weight Loss, Coming Up Roses and Pop on first initial listen
Friday at 19:243 days Author I'm so busy this weekend so I'll have to give a detailed review later but it's such a cohesive album! American Girls, Taste Back and Pop are my highlights so far but also loving Carla's Song and Ready, Steady, Go!

Saturday at 11:233 days I'm obsessed with this album. I might actually buy the CD. Its the best thing he's ever done. All through it I can see his influences. Like, that sounds like 'Hot Chip'. That hook on American Girls is so familiar but I just can't place it. Its like what I was listening to when all the kids were listening to One Direction. Edited Saturday at 11:263 days by Paramore
Saturday at 12:522 days Are you listening yet is the only song that hit me on first listen!! Album title is the best thing and didnt live up.
