I’m not sure we will get any other singles at this stage unless they issue a deluxe / tour edition next year and something is released off the back of that.

Kinda hope they move on from the Tension project now but, like you say I think there will be more potentially due to the tour.

Well she has 2 Tension albums and a Tension Tour so I think we could still some more.....

Maybe a double A side single lol. One song from each of the albums

I think we might have a long wait for this to go silver, but hopefully Tension will go gold very soon.

It’s probably done around 42-43k - should crawl over the silver mark at some point hopefully!

Its probably going to end up her lowest selling album although i dont think we have official lets get to it sales apart from that its silver.

Someone in the SayHey FB group said Tension 1 is currently on 97,371, so it's not too far.

And yeah, this will get silver in the end but probably never gold (which I anticipated all along)

That's about 280 sales a week on average since its total of 96,532 on 15th October, so if that continues then Tension would go Gold towards the end of January 2025! If its average slows down then later than that, but certainly in 2025.

Off topic but I would love an update for Kiss Me Once, what with it being another album that is painfully close to Gold.

I've got Tension II on 40.6k

1. 35,235

2. 2,864

3. Estimate: 1,544

4. Estimate: 1,012

Hopefully BMG do something to encourage sales for Black Friday and over Christmas! :drama: Fingers crossed the tour next year will boost it too. If it goes down to Tension's weekly sales average (or worse!) any time soon, then I think it could be a struggle for it to go Silver in 2025... but I don't think it should happen later than 2026. But I'll predict it'll do it in 2025.

I still can’t believe the slow drag to gold for Tension - it feels like it’s been on the edge forever and I know it’ll get there shortly but that final hurdle is :drama:

Think it will make silver first half of 2025 because of the upcoming tour.

It’s an easy album to stream and the collabs all receive decent numbers so whilst they’re not big numbers I’m hopeful T2 will pick up better streaming numbers than T1 (aside from PP of course). Saying that I’ve no idea how the streams of each Tension compare after a month of release.

How can they count a stream for the collabs for two albums though?

I’m on Apple Music & three are still greyed out.

Presuming MR, DA & EOSN don’t count towards T2

“Where a track is credited to more than one artist – streams of that track will count equally towards each artist's studio albums.” so it should count to both artists albums. However, Tension II’s streaming sales are so low, I would be truly shocked if the collabs were currently counted towards Tension II.

Given that on services like Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube Music the 3 collaborations with Sia, Orville Peck and The Blessed Madonna are not playable as part of Tension II, it's safe to assume none of these are officially part of the album for streaming sales purposes. Not sure why they bothered including them really, as that would have been the main benefit.

Thanks, good to know.

I think releasing extended mixes for download only the week of release didn’t help streaming numbers but most of the tracks have over a million streams or maybe several million by now.

No reductions for Tension or T2 in the HMV Black Friday sale which launched today :drama:

They do have the CDs of Aphrodite, Fever and Abbey Road Sessions on offer though :drama:
