Signed prints now removed from bundles on her website - I’m sure they’ll be back or other signed variants if they need a sales boost, but an encouraging start seeing as the prints were available with bundles so multiple sales :cheer:

I guess Rag N Bone man will be Challenging for that number 1 spot

Kylie letting us now an album 4 weeks before it's actually released gosh

She's taking our money first then will release tour dates and take our money again ......

I don't see how. His last album in 2021 did 42k, and this time there seems to be practically nil interest so he'll do significantly less than that?

Sorry that Rag N Bone message I posted yesterday, not sure why it turned up again lol

Funny that next week we will have the 4th video for the new album already!!!!

Dance Alone

My Oh My

Edge Of Saturday Night

And next week Lights Camera Action

Will this be classed by the OCC as a new studio album or not? What was the situation with Steps?

Steps was classed as a new album, so I guess this will be too.

It's shares exactly zero songs with Tension, so there's no way in a million years this won't be classified as a new album!

i see National album day is on 19th October so maybe a fun special Deluxe for then :) or another special cassette?

If there's more formats to come, they won't be specifically tied to National Album Day because of the theme of the event. This year it is "Great British Groups"!

Will Charlie XCX be a threat on her week 2?

Well I'd imagine that sales of Charli's new physical versions will mostly be attached to its 11th October release week, and the streaming will naturally lessen a week after release, so I don't think Charli should be too much of a threat to Kylie's first week on sale.

I could see Tension II's first week sales being higher than any weekly sale Brat has or will achieve - but also that Tension II's second week sales will be lower than any weekly sale of Brat so far, lol.

I've been unable to find the exact release date for the ABBA album, only that it is in October.

If it is the same week as T2 then Kylie is going to have a battle on her hands.

Surely they will switch the streaming sales from "Gold" to "50" giving it 5k without doing a thing.

Throw in the normal uptick in streaming that these Albums produce then the physical formats available then "50" is probably going to have a pretty week.

Of course on the flip side you have the streaming from the 4 collabs and the new single that would give T2 an immediate boost also.

Could be interesting if the release dates match up

I tend to agree.

ABBA’s compilation is released a week later on 25th October. Although even if they were out in the same week, I personally don’t believe that their sales would come anywhere close to Kylie’s. They’re only releasing two physical formats, a 2CD for £22 and a 4LP vinyl for £100! I would be surprised if its first week sales are much more than a third of what Kylie’s end up being.

The streaming is next to nothing.

I can’t believe tension II is being released on the same week as the Blessed Madonna new album. Looking at the release schedule, she will be Kylie’s main challenger for no1 album.
