He is always throw out as a name whenever it comes to football.
August 10, 2024Aug 10 I don't think Beckham has ever shown any interest in becoming a manager at any level. Â

Surprised he wasn't put in contention at ridiculously high odds for those with no knowledge of football coming in and asking for the bet.   I have to say though these bets are far and few in between the only sport event bet (this isn't a game so not including it) I took in 8 years of working there was 1 X Factor winner bet. Not once did I EVER take or get ask odds on a Christmas #1 or any of the other things that papers always report on bookies odds for. Makes me laugh when I see them for that reason.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Author Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has held talks with the Football Association about becoming the next England manager. England have been without a permanent manager since Gareth Southgate resigned following the Three Lions' Euro 2024 final defeat against Spain.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Apparently the plan is to keep Carsley until the end of the prem season where if Man City get relegated or have a substantial points deduction for next year it’s expected Pep won’t sign a new contract and then to get him on a 18 month deal for the World Cup Oh nvm I didn’t see the latest updates. Tuchel is okay i guess. Don’t rate him but for an international manager probably the best you can get Edited October 15, 2024Oct 15 by Liam sota
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Author Thomas Tuchel has been confirmed to be the England Manager. He will coach the November Nations League games.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Nothing to get excited about really, England still won't win anything even with him in charge.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 I'm quite disappointed with this appointment. Tuchel is so spikey, the press will get under his skin and I can't imagine there will be a great atmosphere in the camp seeing as he falls out with everyone. Not saying Southgate was the man, but he represented a 'company man' and knew the workings of the FA and how the media operated. Think it's a bit bonkers we didn't go for Potter to be honest.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 Potter would be the perfect choice at this stage imo, he’s very like Southgate only more tactically astute, not sure what he would be like with big names though something Sir Gareth excelled at.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 If we were desperate for a German, there's a better option available who left his club this Summer after claiming legendary status...
October 15, 2024Oct 15 There's a real chance now Tuchel's legacy in English football as a Champions League winning manager could be overshadowed by whatever happens while he is England's manager. The common viewer of football will think of him first as England manager rather than a former manager of Chelsea, PSG or Bayern Munich. It's like how a lot of people might forget that Gareth Southgate was manager of Middlesbrough.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 If we were desperate for a German, there's a better option available who left his club this Summer after claiming legendary status... Sounds like the only job that will tempt Klopp is the German national team role. 18 month contract for Tuchel allegedly which starts 1st Jan 2025 and sees him through the World Cup cycle.
October 16, 2024Oct 16 Even stranger to think the players they have and a home euros in 4 years but they aren’t thinking long term but guess Venables did well enough when only coming in in Sept 94 before the last one.
October 16, 2024Oct 16 I think that's a coup for the FA myself! Did not expect them to get him at all but fair play for going bold and not just getting Southgate 2.0. International management is inherently short term anyway so if we get a few tournaments out of him including the home Euros I think there's every chance he can get a tune out of these players, some of whom played their best football under his management.
