March 18Mar 18 Nicky Mitch turning into a right icon with all of the focus on her these past few weeks *.*
March 18Mar 18 Nicola Mitchell being a classic East End mob boss is so camp, she is the best thing to happen to this show in a long time.
March 18Mar 18 Honestly I wish Ben (specifically Max Bowden) was still around because I bet him and Nicola would have been an amazing duo Not Harvey preferring Kathy's bacon over Jeans 👀😭
March 19Mar 19 Tomorrow's episode should be good as it's supposed to look back on what's happened to Phil since the anniversary so there'll be some flashbacks
March 19Mar 19 Ah Teddy, not Alfie!!! He's a right drip, so it's hard ro remember who he is half the time.Nicola finding out where she's buried ... the day BEFORE junior, of all people, decides ro build somerhing there ... in Dartmouth lol. Junior has ro go. He's so wooden and pointless.
March 25Mar 25 An incredibly powerful episode today focusing on Avani. The writing and acting was incredible. Avani and Priya feel like a real mother-daughter duo the way they bounce off each other.
March 25Mar 25 I just love Priya, even if she's only in for like 4 seconds she's always a stand out I'm actually looking forward to seeing more of the dynamic between Avani/Priya/Suki with this storyline
March 25Mar 25 Avani and Priya were both outstanding today, that was an excellent episode. Such an important thing to touch on and finally it’s making use of the younger cast in a way that is actually compelling.
March 25Mar 25 I’ve loved Priya since Day 1 but I feel like today is the first time we’ve got to see Avani properly shine, excellent stuff between the two of them.Last year my favourite episode was the one that focused on a nuanced portrayal of racism with the Knights, where George learned about what happened to his father, plus Anna and Gina discussed different levels of privilege afforded for their skin tones and hair. Once again they tackled a sensitive and important subject in such a raw way. The strip scene was heartbreaking to watch. Every time I thought it was going to cut away it just… didn’t.
March 26Mar 26 Tonight's episode was fantastic. I was totally engaged all the way through, to the point I didn't even think I was watching people act. Uncomfortable viewing at times, but realistically so. I completely believe Priya and Avani with their relationship. Loved the supporting appearance from Suki and even Jean who's annoyed me so much recently. It's definitely nice to see some more investment in Priya away from just the catty remarks (which are great as well) and in Avani who is definitely a future star.Shoutout to Monday's episode too with the focus on Avani, Amy and Lily. I thought the conversations flowed really well and felt like they were being spoken by young teenagers, rather than adults writing how they think teenagers speak. Not been active in here the past month but I've also loved the developments with the NuMitchells - ADORE Nicola, I liked Teddy anyway but glad a bit of fire has been given to him, and Harry is seriously proving himself. Also anything to do with Bianca - I hope to see her pop in and out again in the future.
March 26Mar 26 Yesterday’s episode was so great and unfortunately very accurate with what sometimes happens with the Police . Both the actresses that play Avani and Priya did amazing !My dislike for Jack very much increased after yesterday as well and I’m now even more irritated that people voted him to be with Denise ! March 26Mar 26 Harrowing episode!! However, Amy is by FAR the weakest of the teenagers, after Nugget; her acting was very poor. Howevee, Stacey wasn't great when she first joined, and now she could esdily win an Oscar in Hollywood if dhe wanted. The dislogue for once felt REAL; it felt like an actual teenage conversation, not just "way too big for your boots ha ha ha" cringe that we've come to expect.Poor Avani :( She has a VERY strong case to make against Jack, the love rival of her dad!!! She was the only one targeted, his daughter was let go, he had preconceived ideas, abimosity towards her entire family, and there coulf even be a case for racism, too. Very powerful, but aggravating, episode. Also, Jack is a right villain, but Ravi has killed two people. Another took the blame for it. He dangled a child off a bridge ... and he's a dealer. Denise didn't exactly have great choices.
March 26Mar 26 I think props definitely have to go to the actor who plays Avani. Isn’t she supposed to be in her 20s in real life? Yet I’ve always been convinced by her portrayal of a teenager, even more so than some of the actual teenagers.Priya brilliant as always.

March 26Mar 26 I do like watching a bit of classic EastEnders too. I remember Christmas 2004 where the good guys lost and the bad guys won
April 1Apr 1 Why does Vicki coming back seem to be more about Spencer, as if we needed an excuse to have Alfie on screen every 5 minutes
April 1Apr 1 I'm kind of hoping there's a Spencer return on the cards, even in a recast role. They spent more time talking about him than they did Michelle. It makes sense to address it given it's probably one of the longest off-screen relationships to occur and they can't just explain away Vicki having a new man on her arm so easily but it engulfed the entire episode too much.
April 1Apr 1 The only good thing about this Vicki introduction is the back and fourth she had with Kat 😂
