Quite mad how it's taken them 2 years to give her anything substantial

Penny is a great character and it’s fantastic to see her getting a big storyline. Vinny has needed this too.

I fear for Penny being killed off due to her being absent in the flashforward given Jack had the baby but a post natal depression kind of storyline where she is off getting treatment or something would be great, she definitely needs more to do but not at the expense of her being killed off at the end, I wouldn’t put it past Wadey

I mean, that’s the worry. I’d love the believe that they wouldn’t be stupid enough to kill Penny off but, you know, the track record ain’t great.

Penny and Vinny were great though. I love that Elaine has a 'usual doughnut', camp.

Ravi is such a squandered character, he was and would be great as a misguided anti-hero, like a Phil Mitchell type who’s shady but is doing it for his family. He can do so much better than this ridiculous circle of rubbish that goes nowhere. Given they made him a trafficker who manipulated Kojo, there’s not really any redeeming him anyway but they’re trying so hard to make him a sympathetic figure.

I'm close to calling it a day with this show. Today's episode was GOD awful.

The Ravi pharmacist scene was bad.

And "the bedroom is up here" was awful. Where else would you expect it to be in a fancy house with stairs in the middle of the living room?

Filming the seizure whilst not ideal wouldn’t have been a bad idea as it would help someone time it. If they last longer than 5 minutes then an ambulance must be called.

However, it wasn’t explained that this is what Will was doing so I’m guessing it’s just going to be a humiliating video of Nugget going round courtesy of Will. Will, who had his own issues with pictures going around just a couple of years ago. He barely has a character as he never appear and yet they still manage to keep him consistent.

There are no words for how f***ing abysmal these past two episodes have been 💀Of course Bea had to be standing there gormlessly during the endlessly thrilling pharmacy hostage situation. And the AI Anthony saga…… The only positive is Penny and Vinny, they are great together so it’s a shame them finally getting something to do is being overshadowed by this complete and utter slop.

AI Anthony is terrible but Yolande was spot on with how it could affect Patrick; it does highlight how something like that can impact the natural grief process.

I genuinely felt for Ravi during the pharmacy scenes and then again at the end at home with Priya. It played out a lot better than yesterday's start of it.

Was the GP that Penny and Vinny went to see Owain Hughes from Gavin & Stacey??

Penny and Vinny have surprisingly good chemistry, hopefully even if they had thought about killing her off, they can still change the decision and take the storyline in a different direction (postnatal depression does make sense).

Penny and Vinny have been the absolute highlights of one of the worst weeks I can remember for the show.

Bea - yeah, failed experiment. Axe her. A truly terrible character.

Bea has been in it for too many weeks with nothing to show for it? You'd think they'd have learnt from Jasmine and upped the exploration of her character in much more detail. Is she still staying at Billy and Honey's? She's been in 19 episodes already! What is this woman doing here Ben Wadey????

What is the storyline for Bea? She honestly ruined any chance of tension in the pharmacy. All the other actors in that scene were playing it really seriously and she was being weird. Was that direction on purpose? It ruined the scene.

It’s exactly the same problem as Jasmine, shoved in our faces but with 0 explanation to who she is and why she is that way. They just expect us to fall head over heels and care about her but the character is an utter disaster with no redeemable traits imo. She would have been fine as a short term psycho for a few episodes but idk what on earth they’re doing and where they’ll go with her.

Actually here for Max to put the frighteners on Tim though Linda is going to be raging
