I think it’s almost definite now? We never saw her on screen outside of Denise’s screen, he’s spooked by hospitals and the expressions both Darnell and Grace were pulling in todays episode basically tell us that Darnell’s wife is dead even if they haven’t outright said it. In fact, they haven’t even referred to her as being alive.

Quite enjoying both Darnell and Grace though. Good start for both.
