If they kill Jean of then I will write a strongly worded letter to the BBC

No chance. It will be Martin and maybe Reiss, but he is immortal sooo, and a couple of boring characters. Kojo might get it. Cindy MIIIGHT get it.

lol how on Earth did Harvey and Kathy not notice Cindy stood there bold as brass?

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I was totally engaged all the way through, to the point I didn't even think I was watching people act. Uncomfortable viewing at times, but realistically so. I complete

Martin?

My guess is Ruby dying. It is the Ruby Anniversary afterall.

Then Martin gets custody of Roman

I could see Ruby, I could see that Louisa Lytton would come back for a final chapter and a big exit, otherwise what else? She just swans off again and never lets Martin see her child?

That episode was annoying me so much, why did Stacey want a full blown conversation in the middle of a burning building that could collapse any second :drama: odd writing, not to mention Grant and Bianca running inside (although that's typical of any soap fire I guess lol)

Lots of good moments though. Every Phil scene was beautifully done, especially when Nigel finally told him about his dementia, and I loved Linda's part in those scenes too. The Angie cameo was pretty awesome, hats off to them for that.

Angie!! Reiss dead. Julia and Tony(i) mentions. Phil's story has been so amazing and tonight's scenes were so well done.

The phil stroyline really is working and just feels very natural rather than forced and its great to see Phil in a complete new direction as the hardman act just became very tired and stale.

Steve is a fantastic actor when given the right material which we have seen many times before and id love if he can get a couple of awards for it.

Reiss "that was lucky" whoops a bath drops away

PRICELESS  famous last words.

Overall that was very gripping to watch at the end.

Intrigued to see what happens to Martin though, could be a very impactful death if they are daring to go down that route

I know Clenshaw loves a return and there was bound to be a surprise tonight but I really didn't see Angie coming - so glad it wasn't leaked or anything! What a treat, I've watched most of the first year of EastEnders in the past and Anita Dobson effortlessly slipped back into those shoes, the scene was really well done.

Agreed that the Phil, Linda and Nigel material was an obvious highlight too. They've got this storyline so right.

Good riddance to Reiss! A bath tub death was an interesting route  lowlights were the continued stalling during the disaster and I wasn't feeling the Cindy/Kathy stuff again

Bring on the live episode *.* ready for a memorable moment a la "How's Adam?" x

Denise deserves better but I've voted for Jack nevertheless as I really like Ravi with Priya and think they're more of a realistic long-term pairing

Same! Such a subtle thing but the tears filling up in her eyes while she listened to Phil opening up really got to me. Brilliant acting, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Kellie.

Omg Reiss being squashed by a bathtub of all things was iconic since he most likely tried to kill Debbie in the bath, kind of a full circle moment I guess? His creepy "I hear congratulations are in order" too  I think his scenes with Bianca/Lauren/Sonia were up there with my favourites from that episode, Bianca with her rolling pin too

Phil was incredible and it was SO nice to see Linda in that role for him too, Grant was bloody useless but at least the Facebook mums will be happy he's at least on their screens again :kink:

I love Stacey and Martin together, I enjoyed their scenes and I don't even care that Stacey was really picking her moment but I guess it's a life or death situation so I can understand why she wanted to make sure they both said everything they had to. I thought it would end with Stacey getting out then the whole building going down on Martin but I guess there's still hope for his survival, just without legs?? He's not a character I'm huge on but I'd be sad if he died now actually just because of Stacey

Surprisingly I voted for Jack, mainly because I'd rather put Ravi with Priya. Will probs go Julia for the name, What is Toni in reference to? The only one I can think of is the one that abused Whitney...
