If Callum goes, that leaves Johnny, Suki and Eve as the only LGBTQ characters.

I don't think Johnny stands much chance either, so just Suki and Eve to fly the flag.

Suki and Eve as well. Seeing them laid out in a post like that, they really have done basically all the current LGBTQ+ characters dirty by giving them basically nothing to do, Suki and Eve are the only ones who have had a satisfying arc or enough airtime/storyline. Even with Ben, Callum was kind of just second fiddle and there for the storyline but never really had his own presence.

And yet they have The Prince Albert right there, which Cindy is about to take over... and they'll have next to no LGBTQ+ characters to drink or work at a gay bar.

Callum has literally just been hanging around waiting for Ben.

I wanted Johnny and Felix together for ages and they wait until they already announce Felix is going. I can’t see Johnny going anywhere-he has family there and this Johnny is much better than the last one.

Bernie is the big issue really. They never invested in a romantic pairing for her. I really don’t know why. The character pretty much has to go now but she wasn’t utilised well enough and she was such a strong performer when actually given something.

The one I felt was odd was Vicky's scene with Zac where she suggested he moved away.

He doesn't seem that enamored by Vicky, yet his next scene he was in the cafe talking about how he might get his own place near Whitney and Dolly.

I didn't ring very true that he would follow Vicky's advice, so perhaps it was supposed to be Sharon who suggested it?

I guess at least it gives something to do Vicki something to do but why would he really care about or listen to his half sister’s adoptive half sister who he met like 2 months ago. “My sister has gone so I guess you’ll do”

If Zack left, I don’t think Sharon would ever come back from this 8th grief trip of Australia of the year

Cor they really ramped up this Zack storyline in one whole episode didn't they. We went from Sharon and Vicki knowing to half The Square! It's set up what's likely to be an incredible week of episodes that's for sure.

On a different note...

There's a house in Albert Square which until a couple of weeks ago housed Stacey, her two youngest, Lily, Charli, Jean, Harvey, Mo and Freddie.

Now, Freddie is kicking around in there on his own. He must be sat there wondering how to use the washing machine 😂

I imagine he’ll pop to the Laundrette. Wasn’t he living with Kat and Alfie at one point? I can’t even remember.

We probably won't see the inside of the Slaters' for a very long time then!

Come to think of it when was the last time we even saw inside Ravi's flat? Was it when Suki lived there??

They’ve thrown absolutely everything at Zack over the last couple of years to try and make him happen and he’s just not, this is the latest in a long line and perhaps might be the last Honestly he should have just gone with Whitney at this point.

Whitney still suffering even off screen is kind of camp tho

Just catching up on tbis year, when did the writing filming and production become so i don't know? Disneyfied? Woke almost storytelling?

Linda is the prime example of tbis? It's a sudden shift, it almost feels like they are speaking to us not acting does that .ake sense?

Has something changed this year? It feels very very different and not in necessarily a good way

Very surprised at today's ending happening so soon in the week but at least it means 2 days of aftermath!

Am I being completely out of touch here or has Jean, Linda, Phill, Cathy, Honey, Mo, Kat had complelte personality changes? Where is penny?

Today's ending would have been even better if James Farrar hadn't completely ruined it by giving the whole thing away on TV this morning.

Very close but I think harvey bernie callum and Johnny take that

Very very strong females in eastenders atm absolutely loving it
