So Kylie’s writing credit is genuine given the song must have been initially formulated in early 2022 or something. Unless the period she’s referring to is the edge of the Aussie lockdown, theirs was much later wasn’t it? Regardless it’s very odd how this was held back so long and not included on Tension.

 

My hypothesis is it was incepted/recorded with Raye as the original vocalist maybe around 2021 when she was going through all her label troubles. Since then she's moved on artistically and doesn't want to be a part of it anymore, so Kylie was drafted in in the wake of Padam's success.

Kylie has posted it as her words…all a bit weird if she’s sharing the story otherwise. Very odd.

Those first day streams are tricky to gauge…5 and a half hours of UK time and I actually don’t know what time zone Spotify use for their midnight cutoff.

Those 1st day plays are just from them sending out a link on their socials.

 

Not even worth bothering about. Today's probably not worth bothering about either.

 

It is the Spotify streams from Friday which we will find out on Saturday early evening which are the important ones.
