I don't think that's an issue with the OCC - she wasn't credited on Labrinth's Never Felt So Alone but that was on digital platforms as well as chart databases. It's just because Guess has been out for a few months already in its solo form, and will have been racking up some sales in the OCC database, and they use the credits given by the label. The label will have to specifically ask this to be changed if they want Billie to be credited too.
August 4, 20241 yr It's just a bit of a miserable situation that we all know if it goes to #1 this week then Billie's chart history should rightfully show another chart topper to her name but the official database won't recognize it as such if someone can't be arsed to register it and its far from the only example.

I agree that a US-esque system should have long since been implemented where if a remix with a featured artist is responsible for the majority of sales that week then it is credited as such. August 5, 20241 yr This should be an exciting week on the pop girl front. :cheer: Guess looking to give Charli her first #1 as lead artist, Apple and 360 also have a shot at going top 10 as well. Charli and Chappell surely have top 2 on lock in the albums with BRAT maybe getting to #1 so long into its chart life (by today’s standards at least). Chappell will also hopefully debut in the top 40 with Pink Pony Club and Hot to Go also climbing. Still hoping Good Luck, Babe can steal a week at #1 before Sabrina releases.

August 5, 20241 yr I LOVE Apple now but if you’d have told me on release week it would be the second highest charting hit from the album, I simply wouldn’t have believed you. I had it down as filler that didn’t really fit the album. How wrong I was… This era has done nothing but surprise me time & time again and I love it Billie not getting a credit on Guess would be so dumb. I’m a chart nerd but I just don’t understand the inconsistency of when features/remixes count and when they don’t. And Billie deserves so much more than her only #1s being soundtrack ballads.
