Not sure anyone's creating a fuss, just asking a question regarding the significance of a post?

I think they’ve explained themselves in the post. You might not know why they decided to post it but you also don’t really need to.

My idea of not making a fuss is reading the comment and then moving on.

It was quite random, which is no problem, so I'd say it's all well and good to ask for a little clarification as there might be a connection we've missed!
You mean to say the 40th birthday of the European 3m synchro silver medalist from 2016 isn’t of significant importance for the charts? 😆
I believe Adrian is a former competitive diver and also a charts fan, and likes making random diving related comments from time to time in the charts forum. Not relevant but very harmless. :)

OCC:

“Beabadoobee has taken the lead for her first-ever UK Number 1 album with This Is How Tomorrow Moves.

The third album from the Filipino-English singer (real name Bea Kristi) follows in the footsteps of her previous Top 10 records, 2020’s Fake It Flowers (8) and 2022’s Beatopia (4) and comes with production from music mastermind Rick Rubin, who has worked with everyone from Lady Gaga and Adele to Travis Scott and The Strokes.

Coming in at Number 2 midweek is the original Pop Idol himself, Will Young and his ninth LP Light It Up. It would become Will’s 11th Top 10 album in the UK. He previously topped the Official Albums Chart four times with From Now On (2002), Friday’s Child (2003), Echoes (2011) and 85% Proof (2015).

Predicted to bow at Number 5 on Friday, English Blues singer-songwriter Elles Bailey could secure the first Top 10 album of her career with Beneath The Neon Glow.

Speaking to Official Charts, Elles Bailey says: “Thank for you so much for all the love for this record. The response to the new tracks in the build-up has been unbelievable and I just want to thank my incredible fans for joining me on my journey in the most meaningful of ways.

This record really feels like a huge step, and I am so unbelievably proud of this album and its story! Seeing a top five midweek position is mind blowing, especially sandwiched between Charli xcx and Taylor Swift. That’s one hell of a sandwich there!”

Afrobeats superstar Asake is looking to celebrate his third Top 40 album, and first Top 10, with Longu Boy (8), the album’s biggest single Wave with Central Cee is currently the Number 1 single on the Official Afrobeats Chart.

Outside the Top 10, Calvin Harris’ new compilation 96 Hours - which packs in a number of hits from the last eight years, including UK Number 1 singles One Kiss with Dua Lipa and Promises with Sam Smith - is predicted to debut at Number 11, the seventh Top 40 LP for the Scottish DJ.

Following his only UK tour slot of the year last week in Cardiff, US pop icon Billy Joel’s greatest hits Piano Man – The Very Best of Billy Joel is looking to re-enter the UK Top 40 (28) for the first time in 14 years.

And finally, Paul Weller’s Fly On The Wall – B-Sides & Rarities is expected to enter the Official Albums Chart at Number 34, it would be the 29th Top 40 album for the former The Jam star. “

It's just one commentator that's continuously let run riot.

(If moderators spent the time dealing with trolls instead of randomly deleting comments this forum would be all the better for it).

The word flop is used by tons of people at the drop of a hat on Buzzjack, just take a look in the Katy Perry forum.

Also, as someone who has called out deleted comments on the forum therefore feel partially responsible for this comment, I am more than satisfied the situation was delt with fairly and has been resolved so let's not bring up things we don't know anything about. The moderators work incredibly hard on this forum and shouldn't have to be dealing with users who struggle to get along, yet unfortunately do.

They don't deserve to be called out with ridiculous comments like this, if the posts bother you then speak to one of the mods about it.

It’s not a ‘fuss’ to ask for clarification if I’m confused. It’s part of a discussion.

I hope Will Young can hold on and get another top 3 studio album, not breaking his streak! Did not realise it was out this week I'll have to grab a copy.

The discussion that appeared to be questioning why someone was discussing something. Got you

I wonder if Calvin will release physicals at some point. I'd quite like that album physically...

I listened to both Will and Beabadoobee's albums and prefer the latter personally, although Will's has two or three decent album tracks with a solid 80s vibe. So hoping for Beabadoobee or for Charli to finally get a week.

It’s great to see Billy Joel’s hits collection climb so high following his Cardiff gig. I really wanted to go and probably could have gotten tickets but there was literally nowhere I could stay in Cardiff last week, the whole city was booked up! :)

surprised to see 'Somedays' as high as #17!

(largely an excruciatingly slow chart week again though x)

Hoping beadoobee hasn’t got high sales, Charlireally deserves a #1 album for BRAT and the album will have a much bigger impact than beadoobee’s.
Yay at the new Killers song making an appearance at #99 even if there’s no chance it’ll hold on
