Sure, but that's not what's happening here as the question was posed about who was leaving Capital next, completely irrelevant to the discussion and if that wanted to be discussed then they have their own thread for that. It just feels like every opportunity to post about the station is being taken by one specific poster completely unnecessarily. Had it been confirmed by one of the departing Radio 1 DJs that they were moving to the station then I'd understand more but that hasn't happened.

I've had another look at these changes and I can't believe that Sam and Danni haven't got anything out of this. I thought that Vick and Jamie would leave Radio 1 with Sam and Danni joining Katie when the next big change came in. Sam and Danni are clearly the next hosts of Breakfast but in my eyes it would feel wrong for them to jump straight to Breakfast from Weekend Afternoons without doing a permanent Weekday slot first.

This is a minor issue but I hope with the new pairings (Charlie and Jerry, Vicky and Charley and Shanequa and Oré) they take pictures of them together instead of putting an old photo of each of them from separate photoshoots together.

Also these changes bring the average age of a Radio 1 presenter down from 37.1 to 36.22.

It does make me wonder who they will stick on Going Home with the likes of Jerry and Emil doing other regular shows. Sam and Danni would absolutely smash a show like that now, especially when they're more than capable of covering Breakfast.

im assuming that’ll be new hires. Hope people like Sam Darlaston and Lauren Redfern get those slots cause they are actually good presenters.

I think Jack has been sick this week and was away last week.

What's the point of extending Breakfast to 11 when it's all Anthems from 10:30 anyway?! It makes RMC ridiculously short as well.

unrelated to the playlist but 80 hours of dance kicks off at 6pm on Thursday (the only shows unaffected are the chart, 10-11 anthems from James and Nat/Vicky, and 00’s/10’s/20’s). First Look probably won’t happen this week as its not being listed.
