Lots of Kylie certifications recently! That's 55k in 72 weeks, putting its average at 764 a week.

At the beginning of the year, I had estimated it would pass Platinum in August, with the potential to pass early due to the tour.

Kylie's first Platinum album since 'Aphrodite'!

Excellent news, thank you DanielsAloud!

Think that’s her first platinum album released since Aphrodite (edit… It is thanks Liam). Hoping The Abbey Road Sessions is still collecting a few streams and might reach platinum next.

Maybe they’ll surprise her with the news at tonight’s show or even better tomorrow in Birmz….because I’ll be there!

Wow, Kylie’s first platinum album with BMG (it should have been DISCO) but we’ll take it!

I wonder if there will be another greatest hits planned for 2027, since it will be 40 years.

Ooh it's nice to see it go Platinum during the tour! cheer I wonder if it's re-entered the Top 200?

I don't honestly think we need another one for at least 15 years now!

This - unless it’s a fan focused box set release or something featuring rarities, b-sides etc.,

I know most artists this far into their career have multiple GHs but we have more than enough now -

Greatest Hits (PWL)

Hits+

Confide In Me

Greatest Hits (BMG)

Greatest Hits 87-99

Artist Collection

Ultimate Kylie

Confide In Me - Irresistible Kylie

The Best Of Kylie Minogue

Abbey Road Sessions

SBIT

🫠

I feel another one could be on the way to coincide with this Netflix Documentary which we are still not sure when it is coming

And we have the sales from Ryan / SayHey Facebook!

“I have the top 250 combined album chart available (Artist and Comps in the same chart and Kylie's there).....

227 (221) Step Back In Time

Sales: 1,176

Total sales: 301,174

48 wks in the chart

Digital: 1,165 (not sure how correct that is)

Anyway, nice to see official sales :)”

So this must be just outside the non-compilation top-200, but most importantly it shifts (mainly streams) enough for more than 1.1k sales equivalent units per week right now! I’d say not bad at all. After the tour’s over, it will probably go to 700-800 per week.

They won't put out a whole new GH so soon just for that, don't be silly.

Is there a way they could maybe add Padam and Tension to the digital version of SBIT?

This! Refresh the album for streaming to get some extra sales

Yep could easily reissue digitally with the Disco and Tension era stuff.

Though as we know that’s just for chart ‘manipulation’ re the streaming rules. Won’t result in much more streams.

By digital I'm assuming it means streams as well as downloads.

I've long thought that they should at least add 'Padam Padam' to 'Step Back in Time' on streaming services. Such little effort but could see a decent increase in its chart sales.

I agree we don't need a brand new greatest hits album for Kylie, but maybe they could repackage it for the 40th anniversary of Kylie's music career. Maybe a more expansive vinyl as the original only had 20 tracks.
