It's from an insider source. Sales were 14k as of June 2009 and 11k in ten years seems reasonable.

Ah I love Boombox - such a great remix album, 25k is pretty decent for what it is.

Always surprised to remember that the Abbey Roads Session almost reached number one and almost went platinum. Its sales are almost triple KMO's, which is another big shock. How did the former manage to sell so much despite being by-and-large another greatest hits album and how did Kylie's sales fall so quickly in such a short span afterwards for KMO to struggle selling even a third of that amount despite being a brand new album with singles, promo, and a tour?

It got a tone of promotion and this was when releasing in Q4 actually boosted sales. The way it was marketed was perfect for the Radio 2 buying audience. I get your point though, it does highlight just how much of a misfire the Kiss Me Once campaign was.

Not to mention that Roc Nation didn't really understand Kylie at all... and Parlophone simply didn't know how to handle the age of streaming.

Streaming only really became a thing in summer 2014, the KMO era was done by that point.
