Thrilled to see 'Love at First Sight' certified Platinum! Should have been a #1 for her, as it could have been if released a week earlier!

It has averaged 1,227 chart sales in the 163 weeks that has passed since it was certified Gold, up from the 687 it was averaging at the point of going Gold. Curious to know if 'Padam Padam' is still shifting more units a week or if 'Love at First Sight' is now Kylie's second most consumed on a weekly basis.

Six more years until it reaches a million!

7 Platinum certified songs but she has 8 songs over 600k+ as 'I Should Be So Lucky' has sold 800k+ (or maybe its ninth as 'The Loco-motion' might have hit 600k total sales now).

Kids and Higher probably next to go platinum at some point?

It’s a bit weird for me how big of a difference in sales there is between LAFS and IYE!

They have very similar original chart runs, and the (worldwide) streams of In Your Eyes have always been significantly higher than for Love at First Sight!

With “In Your Eyes” having more streams on Spotify, I thought it would’ve gone Gold before LAFS going Platinum.

I check the kworb global Spotify streams and see IYE higher consistently but assumed that’s because it was a massive radio hit in Europe at the time, more so than LAFS.

Yeah it’s odd that In Your Eyes is so big worldwide but comparatively smaller in the UK. It was 16th on her most streamed songs in the UK in 2023.

Plus other streaming sites LAFS might do better, we only really know Spotify and YouTube.
