Posted August 26, 2024Aug 26 :hi: The time has come for a new quiz season as aforementioned, and here is the first weeks quiz, hosted by myself, and it's a case of finding the most obscure correct answer that nobody else has thought of. This is Pointless! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x400q90/923/uCU0Hl.jpg Please consider these 12 chart related questions, and come up with the lowest scoring answer; Here are the general rules; * Submit an answer that you think nobody else will think to enter * If you succeed, you score a pointless answer with 0 points * If someone else provides the same answer as you, you each score 1 point * Incorrect answers equal a points penalty based upon the number of participants * The winner of each round will be determined by whoever scores the lowest pointed correctly guessed answer PLEASE NOTE: Loophole answers won't be allowed (the chart means the Official UK singles chart and not any other chart, artists must have scored hits as the performer rather than a songwriting/production credit). August 26, 2024Aug 26 Query re the rainbow colour question, must the song only contain that one word or can it be a multi-word title with that colour included?
August 26, 2024Aug 26 Author Query re the rainbow colour question, must the song only contain that one word or can it be a multi-word title with that colour included? Either option is acceptable. ^_^
August 27, 2024Aug 27 Author pardon me for being slow but what does 'epizeuxi' mean x A thread was made in this forum recently by BuzzJack member Mangø and it might give you an idea of what it means. Essentially, it's a song title that repeats a word three times consecutively. ;)

August 27, 2024Aug 27 Does it have to win album of the year at the Brits to count as a “Brit award winning album”, or does it count if just a single from it won something?
August 27, 2024Aug 27 Author Does it have to win album of the year at the Brits to count as a “Brit award winning album”, or does it count if just a single from it won something? It needs to be an album only. It has to have won an award as a stand alone album, not just because a single from the album won some other award.
August 28, 2024Aug 28 Author Thanks for all the responses so far. I received a request to clarify a few questions so here's some extra info that might help; Ok to clarify, 4) This needs to be a unique position in the UK Top 40 Singles Chart for any of her releases. 5) Has to be an official credit, no bootlegs or unreleased material. 7) Purple is definitely acceptable as a colour. "Hundred" and "Blues" wouldn't be acceptable as plurals. 8) This is certainly open to interpretation so I won't elaborate but it has to have peaked in the last 10 years (so presumably it wouldn't have been released in the last 10 years)
