April 20Apr 20 Managed to get the four RSD records I wanted online *.* far more successful than my attempt last year!A singles heavy one this time:Charli xcx - party 4 u (7")Françoise Hardy - J'suis d'accord / Tous les garçons et les filles de mon âge (7")Olive - Extra VirginPinkPantheress - Girl Like Me (7")
April 20Apr 20 My sister got me Sophie Ellis-Bextor as I was out of the country for RSD ❤️That’s really all I wanted. I was vaguely interested by Loreen/Ólafur Arnalds but only for completist purposes, the music from this project is not massively appealing to me so while I did see it in Bengans in Stockholm, I decided to leave it.
April 20Apr 20 Online today, I got:Carly Rae Jepsen - Disco Darling 7"Louise - Confessions Extended Edition 12"Mel B - Hot 12" Picture Disc (the FOMO feelings were too strong in the end to be able to resist this lol)
April 20Apr 20 I am thinking about getting Diplo (somekind of) GH collection on 3LP and Deadmau5 2LP set. Both extremely expensive. I purchased too many lately
April 21Apr 21 Nver been organised enough to do RSD, but I did buy a 1976 Japan picture sleeve copy of Yesterday (in its first UK single release green cover edition) for 20 New Zealand dollars in Christchurch. The back cover is Japanese writing with a Beatles photo. I couldnt resist it. My first Beatles purchase was Get Back in 1974, but dad bought I Want To Hold Your Hand and Can't Buy Me Love in 1966 so it seemed like a nice 60th and 50th anniversary buy...
June 2Jun 2 The Rough Trade 50 series latest batch has dropped and I have had to get Blur, Illinois and, most importantly, Lemon Jelly!!! 🍋https://www.roughtrade.com/collection/rough-trade-50

Though I was upset because I missed out on Belle & Sebastian’s Tigermilk (again!). It had sold out within 2 hours!
June 3Jun 3 Yes that one did sell out really quickly, it had gone by the point I looked as well. Lemon Jelly sold out not long after but thankfully the price probably put enough people off so I got one - it is expensive but then an original costs upwards of £500 now so in comparison it’s okay. Plus I know the packaging is nice and it looks like they’ve put a lot of care into it as the band were promoting it and seemed on board
June 3Jun 3 Author I got Lemon Jelly and Blur as well - they look ace! I’ve been after Lemon Jelly for ages, so glad it’s been reissued.
June 3Jun 3 Illinois is already gone, damn, it’s so pretty.I’ve recently started getting vinyls, slowly growing my library and catching up. Just snatched 2 unopened How to Dress Well LPs for less than 10 euros each. Discogs is my new favourite website x Edited June 3Jun 3 by pavi
June 4Jun 4 love the late 60's design of the Lemon Jelly (see Banana Splits :) ). I bought the Sufjan Stevens CD at the time, great little album that no-one has heard of (annoyingly).
June 4Jun 4 Illinois is potentially my favourite album of all time, it’s just such an epic undertaking and one where every track is both inventive and good!
