BMG on a roll with Kylie.

They are now on track for a fifth consecutive Number 1.

It's crazy we are looking at 5 in row which really is brilliant considering she just had 5 number 1 albums prior to signing with them.
I don't remember what opening sales I chose but this will be by far her lowest selling album for sure. A #1 is still a #1 though.

I think it can possibly outdo Let's Get To It and Impossible Princess, although I'm not sure I see it passing Gold within my lifetime.

How old are you again?

I think BMG will drag this one out to coincide with the tour - wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t get a tour edition, T1 & 2 version etc

Oh i tihnk there is a lot more to come here...... She will have more promo to come, discounts, new editions, some more guest appearances on tracks and people will be tempted to buy a copy if they are coming to a concert etc.

I think even in long run its streaming could do better than many of you think

I said it in another thread..... LCA, Taboo, Someone For You to Good As Gone is a top 4 run is quite something and she sounds so good on every song. well produced

I think it might take a while to go gold but will hopefully get there.

If it gets a re release for the tour I'm sure it will include extended mixes.

Hopefully this and Tension can keep her run of Number 1 gold selling albums going.

I think it’ll debut at number 1 in the UK and Oz, with lower sales than Tension. I predicted between 40 and 50k…I reckon she’ll debut with around 41-42k in the UK.
I think we’ll get more but I have a feeling BMG hands have been burnt by the amount of physicals left over from Tension - I’d expect signed variants to come and not a lot else tbh. I’m certain of a #1 though - we know that Kylie can and does shift solid physical sales with each release.

They should’ve learnt that from Disco as well!

If they could release them cheaper with cheaper posting it would be beneficial.

Fingers crossed it will be her 10th uk number 1 album, sales won't match her last 3 studio release so I'm thinking around 35k.

Likewise hopeful for another aussie number 1,

With Ireland it should go top 5 at the worst as I really can't see her going number 1.

I wasn't too far wrong with Aussie and UK but def got it wrong for Ireland, really wasnt expecting it not to go top 5.

Can’t remember where I posted it but I’m sure me and Jay agreed this sequel album would decrease the same percentage as the Steps two albums would, which was 35k.
A bad habit of mine is to vote in polls and then forget to say what I voted for lol, and weeks later I'm not 100% sure what I voted for.

But I think I went with this:

#1

Between 30,000 and 40,000

Top 3

Top 3

Course ya did Jay, you were telling me you thought 15k if she was lucky and #3… 😋😅

Shhh don’t be supporting Jay right now 🤫 😉

I found the posts :cheeseblock:

Yeah I imagine Rag’n’Bone Man will do quite a bit less.

Steps decreased 32.38% in first week sales between their Part 1 and 2 albums, so Kylie would sell 36k if she does the same which I imagine would be more than enough to get #1.

I'm hopeful for around 35k, in line with what Liam said re: Steps' percentage decline from What the Future Holds to What the Future Holds Part 2!

:cheer:

LIES!

I was wrong with this prediction though:

I could see Tension II's first week sales being higher than any weekly sale Brat has or will achieve - but also that Tension II's second week sales will be lower than any weekly sale of Brat so far, lol.
Brat sold 35,949 the week before Kylie sold 35,235!
