September 30, 20241 yr It's not guaranteed that they would have played her even if she was at #20 though, is it? I'd say almost certainly? We'll never know now, of course!

September 30, 20241 yr Was hoping Nina Nesbitt’s album would officially be top 40 on Friday. Such a great album so hoping it makes the top 100. Deserves to smash
September 30, 20241 yr Think the most shocking part is Ed only being at number 5 so farWon't streams benefit him massively (and they're always delayed in midweeks)? Or are these sort of like re-recordings and will count separately (like Busted - Greatest Hits collection for example)?
September 30, 20241 yr Was expecting Ed Sheeran to be #1 by a large margin :o Also I wasn't expecting Gaga to be anywhere near #1 but I thought we'd see Harlequin in the top 10 at this stage.
September 30, 20241 yr If Sabrina is at #4 then I’m assuming it’s a very low week in sales and she will end up getting #1
September 30, 20241 yr Yep, Ed at #5 and Lady Gaga at #25 are really surprising. Expected Ed at #1 and Gaga Top 10. Next you'll be telling me Kylie isn't Top 40!! ;)
September 30, 20241 yr Physical versions of Harlequin will only be shipped on the 11th. Gaga is at #25 with streaming and digital sales only.
September 30, 20241 yr Gaga doesn't have physicals yet. They're released 11th October. She's charting purely on digital downloads/streams.
September 30, 20241 yr I think BMTH will get the #1 if they push, which I think they will. Of course, they’d easily have it if they released their album on streaming + physical on the same day! Shed Seven also look like they’re pushing hard.
September 30, 20241 yr Won't streams benefit him massively (and they're always delayed in midweeks)? Or are these sort of like re-recordings and will count separately (like Busted - Greatest Hits collection for example)? Spotify streams are a day behind all other's are usually on time so doubt that males much of a difference tbf
September 30, 20241 yr Think the most shocking part is Ed only being at number 5 so far It’s not shocking tbh. There are no new songs on it. Just a collection of all his hits which most people will have and very little promotion.
September 30, 20241 yr The title of Ed’s album also makes it sound like it’s a live album. One of the most weirdly marketed hits albums I’ve seen, the physical sales must be dire. I guess it will hang around in the top 30 regardless thanks to streams though.
September 30, 20241 yr Wait is Ed an actual greatest hits? He literally had the title “The Sum of” right there!
September 30, 20241 yr Wait is Ed an actual greatest hits? He literally had the title “The Sum of” right there! He used that for his documentary last year though
