Question: if Spring breakers and Hello goodbye got the remix treatment, who would you choose to feature on them?

I think Slayyyter, Anitta or Kim Petras would be good on the former. Christine and the Queens, Sam Quealy or Hannah Diamond for the latter.

B2b featuring Tinashe! :bratcheeseblock: That's my favourite out of the new remixes. I'm also really liking Apple, Sympathy is a knife, I think about it all the time and So I (and I'd say the latter two I prefer to the originals!).

Sympathy is a knife is my fave and keeps getting better the more I hear it. I think about it all the time brought me to tears, uptempo So I goes OFF. Club classics and 365 are as great as I hoped they would be and are gonna be on all our party playlists. Caroline did a reverse Welcome To My Island remix and made Everything is romantic her song.

I also really like Mean girls with Julia Casablancas

She's reaching a wider audience with these collabs but the overall sound very much caters to Charli's core fanbase who stanned Pop 2 and how I'm feeling now

Sleepyhead ‘cause all the fucking foxes kept me awake last night x

Unsurprisingly loving all of this. It’s such a well thought through remix album, all the collaborators complement it so well.

Brat autumn has arrived :bratcheeseblock:

Charli: back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back

Tinashe: back x

Obsessed with this.

So good hearing Tinashe on B2b, now everyone steam Quantum Baby too :brat:

250 copies of the 3LP left so I imagine it’ll sellout by the end of the week for sure and if that is selling out a good indication it’ll get #1 and do decent numbers

Some great critic reviews so far

The Guardian - 5/5

"Big-name guests abound on a thrilling remix album that takes a glimpse into celebrity’s heart of darkness but makes it transcendently fun and cool."

Clash - 9/10

"As after parties go, ‘brat and it’s completely different but also still brat’ is one for the books."

Slant Magazine - 8/10

"A companion piece that’s just as reflective of the zeitgeist as its parent album."

The Telegraph - 4/5

"Taken alongside Brat’s first iteration, it’s a fun, crazed musical triumph; explored as its own entity, it can feel somewhat like a cynical marketing ploy dreamt up by suited bigwigs."

Obsessed with this.

OMG... THIS!

I've only heard 'Sympathy is a knife', 'B2B' and 'I think about it all the time' due to the remixed artists involved but I definitely like Siak the least out of them... which surprised me. Just noise to me (and ultimately not *really* my thing at all I guess) But I liked the other 2.

EDIT: Also they were my first listens to those songs in any form. So I don't have anything to compare them to.

Love this as an album, I don’t see the point if she had just tacked an Ari verse onto Sympathy or Tinashe had some adlibs on b2b, that would have just been milking the album for the sake of it, this is properly a REMIX album and what Brat could have been in a different life. It showcases all of her influences and sides and kind of feels like a companion book that tells you everything that led to Brat and everything that might come after. I thought Caroline Polachek was NEEDED for Apple but I absolutely love her on the remix of Everything Is Romantic and that makes so much sense now I’ve heard it.

Those who hate it compared to Brat frankly are only here for the Brat summer hype and clearly don’t understand Charli as an artist and the influences she’s had, the different sounds she has explored and who she is.

This is all wonderful <3 My CD arrived today. I had the original album on CD but had to get this version too, it elevates what is already one of the albums of the year. I admire the mirror image aesthetic too, even if it makes it tricky to read the booklet!

The remixes are varying shades of great for me, but I was particularly struck by Rewind, So I, Mean girls and I think about it all the time of the mixes I hadn't heard already.

I won't be able to listen until tomorrow :drama: so hyped! Also still debating whether to order the vinyl or not ...

Apparently it’s selling like hot cakes today and there’s only about 200 left on her uk store!
