October 28, 20241 yr I love them both - I think both are really strong albums, however I think T2 has got the edge for me!
October 28, 20241 yr Author Im not 100% sure as of yet, both have 1 or 2 songs that i love but both also have songs that i know i wont revisit a few years down the road.
October 28, 20241 yr Tension II is more fun but Tension is a stronger collection. Tension II hopefully will collect more streams long term outside of Padam of course.
October 28, 20241 yr Honestly I prefer Tension II. I have to say that cohesive is one of the last words I'd consider 'Tension' as being, and I absolutely don't mean that in a negative or sassy way, it's just it's such a mixed bag of different pop sounds. Let's say, I don't think overall it particularly sounds like the natural home of 'Padam Padam' or 'Tension' (the song)!
October 31, 20241 yr Author Im going with Tension, i think overall it may have the slight edge but i do feel in time to come it will age better than many of the track on Tension 2.
November 3, 20241 yr There are so many ‘Best Of Tension’ fan playlists on Spotify - hopefully that’ll help get a few extra charts ‘sales’ for each album and people stream the best of both.

November 5, 20241 yr Tension II for me, but I don't rate either of them as Kylie's best tbh. However the first 5 tracks on Tension II are excellent.
