It's such an interesting year for Album of the year at the Grammys, I, personally can see realistic outcomes where Taylor, Beyonce, Chappell, Billie, Charli and even Andre win the award. And all of them have strong narratives that could take them there. The only two I don't see it for are Sabrina and Jacob.

 

Which album do you think will take the honour this year, and which do you personally WANT to take it.

I think Beyoncé will win, and it wouldn't be undeserved, it's a great album. If not then possibly Billie or Chappell.

 

My personal favourites musically are Sabrina and Charli, but I would like Charli to get it - Brat was such a major cultural moment this year, and for good reason.

I think that Charli deserves it, but I’d also be happy with Beyoncé, Andre or Billie getting it.

 

I went with Beyoncé for who I think, but it isn’t with any conviction as I agree there are arguments for many on the list.

I voted for Beyonce, but it's going to feel like a lifetime album of the year achievement award rather than something for Cowboy Carter itself. She deserved it far more for self titled, Lemonade and Renaissance. But I feel like if Taylor got a win for Midnights, she could easily get one for this which is just as patchy, because they love her so much.

 

I think Chappell and Charli have the most consistent front-to-back albums. The former having an advantage because it has huge hit single on it and the latter because the whole package/campaign is bigger.

 

But Billie is also in the ring as she has a huge critically acclaimed album with hit singles and has proven to loved by the academy already.

 

The votes between the pop girls could also end up being so split that Andre wins.

 

I want Brat to win, though. I think it would feel like the biggest accomplishment out of them all.

They are largely samples and collabs though. Also, just because it's not her best I don't think it's mediocre. It's still ambitious, tells a story and includes some career highlights.

 

 

I really want Charli to win because I feel like Brat is the moment of 2024… but I can see Beyonce or Billie getting it (I’m voting Billie for who will win because it wouldn’t surprise me if the Beyonce snubbing continues).

Honestly I’m kinda feeling it will go to Andre 3000 :lol: There’s all these big pop girls up and I just can’t help but think none of them will win, I think Billie/Chappell/Beyoncé/Charli will get smatterings elsewhere but will miss out on the big one. If it’s one of the girls I think Billie, after winning nothing for Happier Than Ever I can see this being a return to form for her and they go for her in a big way. I can definitely see Birds of a Feather getting at least SOTY or ROTY.

 

I’d be very surprised if Beyoncé didn’t get 2 or 3 country awards, I’d like to see her win if not Charli/Chappell who are my first choices, I’d be happy with Billie too as Hit Me Hard and Soft is excellent.
