That's a bit worse than I expected for Linkin Park considering TEM did 438k when it debuted.

Think with the album release it’s more important that there’s more songs in the top 50/100 rather than the amount of streams!

Great start for Sam, top 3/5 is a possibility!

LP in steep decline on AM now, the highest is #20 ('Emptiness')

I guess the Christmas music starts to take so much attention during the weekends now that it's difficult to break through.

definitely too much xmas music already in the weekend

on Amazon, Wham are #10 and Mariah #11&30 so probably #1 combined

even Snowman is top 40, who listens to Snowman in mid-November!!!!

There’s been news about cold weather coming from today in Ireland and the Uk so it can’t be doing it harm and this probably helps the Xmas songs too if it’s seasonal, I even started listening to the new Xmas songs this weekend to see which ones to play on my on the go playlist in December.

Sam is now up to #5 on Apple (#2 if you account for ACR songs above it)

Interested to see how it charts this week - also at #2 on iTunes plus £1.99 CD singles.

Sam down to #16 on Spotify today (220k)

Big climbs for the Christmas songs, Mariah and Wham up to #11 and #12 respectively

boo not the bestest hold for Sam and Tate, really can't at the need to listen to Xmas songs in Nov

I'm originally from Spain and no one listen to Xmas music now, if you look at the Spanish Spotify top 200,

the number of Xmas songs is... zero! no Wham no Mariah nada :D

He’s got signed CDs so reckon he will be top 3.

Lewis Capaldi got to #1 when he was about #12 on streaming because of his signed CDs

Not signed for Sam. That was disallowed last summer! Though I still think he has enough of a fan base to buy the cd singles as collectors items

Plus the addition of a physical only b-side will help sales.

It really all depends on the amount of physicals sold but I still wouldn’t rule out a #1 debut (fingers crossed anyways!)
I imagine Sam could be #1 tonight on the mids a la gaga a few weeks ago and slip by Friday ending in the top 5 hopefully

Listening to Christmas songs NOW is a very Anglo-American thing, hence they are not a threat to DWAS at #1 on GLOBAL Spotify until the Christmas week I suppose (unless DWAS loses a lots of steam for some reason).

And of course something else non-Christmas related might explode.

Big fall for Sam but at least he's still #5 when ACR is taken into account... In fact only 5 songs in the top 20 are on SCR, charts are so stale at this time of year. Would imagine he could easily get #4 officially with the CDs given the low bar, that would be a great result!
When was the first weekend of day Wham and Mariah broke a million on Spotify last year?
