I was wondering if this might just be Jonjo sending 'Cosmic Journey' to a third different contest haha :kink: (previously in BJSC and then again in the Your Best of BJSC spinoff - looks like it's getting a better result here than it did in either of those so perhaps worth it x)

I do enjoy Butterflies and Hurricanes as I do most of Muse's material, but Guillemots one was such a discovery and fit the theme so well, I hope it can hang on.

Commiserations Rollo - even without the 1-3s being declared first, you were ahead when the original deadline passed, but runner-up is a great showing for your song which was a wonderful discovery for many of us. The late votes mean I complete the podium - thank you to all those who voted for Fleet Foxes, especially Jester and All★bySmashMouth for the 12s.

 

Thank you to the 21st Century Throwback mods for making the arrangements for me to host, and to all entrants and voters! I hope you enjoyed this theme idea - it certainly made for a variety of entries and interpretations of it - and presenting the low scores first was something I wanted to try if I ever hosted a song contest, although even in real time the lead changed several times over. Well done again Mangø once you've caught up with these results - look out for the iPod widget sometime soon!

Oh congratulations Mangø! What an atmospheric Muse single, one I enjoyed at the time of owning the album and still sounds great today. That's disappointing to see such a big lead being whittled away. Thanks to everyone who voted for Sao Paulo, 2nd place is still a good finish.

 

I knew and liked the winning song already but didn't put it in my vote as I thought a number 14 hit single by a group that's well known should have been vetoed but congratulations to Mango on the win and getting your second widget.

I only voted for 5 of the top 10 which is not too great from a field of 20 (19 really excluding myself) but ho hum! Cow's entry also deserved way better </3 and thanks Cow for the last points, my second highest of the night and almost allowing me to escape the wooden spoon again but alas holding onto it by a tiebreak :cheeseblock: 33 points seems not too bad for last place though.
