Yeh but the chart is t full of Xmas songs until last Friday really! Mariah and wham being top 100 on 10th Nov is hardly and issue?!

Kelly slipping to #10 is stressful x

She’ll pass Tom Grennan I’m pretty sure and possibly repass the Pogues. I’m surprised the Pogues are back ahead

Not sure about either of those - in the same week last year, Sam Ryder was #8 and Ariana #10 in the Wednesday mids, yet she still couldn't overtake (and fell behind 'greedy') - also The Pogues have been ahead of Kelly on Spotify since the weekend.

I think it'll come down to whether Kelly can hold off 'Defying Gravity' (I'd say probably) and 'Messy' (looking less likely by the day). If she doesn't manage it this week, I don't think she will next week, so her next best chance will be in 2 weeks when the non-Christmas songs should be out of the picture, but the huge Christmas Day streams could push a few others ahead.

It's just occurred to me (after seeing André Rieu making his regularly scheduled album chart appearance) that it appears this year is going to be breaking the streak of Daniel O'Donnell getting a new top 40 album every year. Sad times. Wasn't sure if he actually released anything this year but just checked and he did release a compilation in October which got to #25 in the sales chart but missed the overall top 100.

Glad to see that the high chart appearance for that 'fruitcake' thing does seem to have just been driven by physicals, I really could not be dealing with that being high up the album chart for the rest of December, let me hope that the success of 'A Nonsense Christmas' is short lived as well x

oh I just realised Dua's live album is at #43! and here I was thinking it could be a#1 contender :o
Underneath the Tree really is the best Xmas song released this century

Kelly actually thinks otherwise.
