This will be Wham’s second year if they get it, it’s hardly on the level of ladbaby or x-factor yet. People are acting like they’ve been Xmas 1 for decades. This year they were beatable but probably the physicals of the 40th anniversary’s make a difference. Sam Ryder was only 6k behind and Gracie will probably get within 5k

Respectfully it's grating on me everyone moaning on about Wham being number 1 (As above this is only the second year) and it's just a few weeks out of the year.

 

I'm not being funny but Gracie's team could have easily pushed for Christmas number 1 with a featured remix and 3 types of physicals out this week (It would have made it alot closer anyway)

 

Artists / Record Labels just don't seem to be interested in the illusive Christmas Number 1 now.

I don't understand how the Amazon exclusives get so many sales

Because every man and his dog asks Alexa to play Christmas song and the original songs are like track 3 on the default playlist. Plus compared to other regular Christmas songs if they weren't on ACR they wouldn't appear as stellar. Wham usually do around 180k in the last week while Sam Ryder did 80k. Probably would've been lower in the top 20 if every song had unajusted streams.

Personally, I’d love Last Christmas to be Xmas #1 every year until a better Christmas song comes along.

Sales won't be big but glad to see Snoop and Dre top 10.

Surely Buble/Wham will be number one next 2 weeks?

At least there's a race for the Christmas #1 album!

Last week, Sabrina led by 224 units over Buble on Monday and finished ahead 2,584 units. And she's got a little trick up her sleeve depending how badly Polydor wants the Christmas #1 album, she never released busy woman in the UK, a song us Americans rushed out and purchased enough to propel her to US #1.

So the Cure’s live album is presumably combined with the original

I hope Sabrina can increase her lead from Bublé

Buble will have good Sunday streams but other than that Sabrina will probably outdo him. May pick up my first copy of Short N Sweet to help the cause :D
