I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at this (or maybe it’s just me)? In the streaming era the EOY chart has appeared heavily biased towards songs released/peaking in the first ha

  • Lmao at the OCC reporting Tyga's 'Taste' at #15 instead of Sabrina and Travis Scott's 'Stargazing' instead of Myles Smith at #20 💀

  • Or a semi permanent lead until “Iris” overtakes it in 2052.

Have 6,772,000 for Killers.

And have 6,514,000 for Wham! just based on what’s sitting in my spreadsheet including 306k YTD.

We are very close then. Killers increased on Spotify despite the Christmas rush.

And Wham! are on exactly 6,513,904 I think.

Wham! probably won’t overtake the Killers this year then assuming the estimation on Christmas Day works against them. Would need to do 200k that week probably?

Although I guess they could have enough momentum to sneak past the week after.

It’s difficult to say. I’ve currently got them on 6,815,000 on Christmas Day and Killers on 6,799,000 or slightly less.

Wham!’s figure could be higher as 19th December it gets more streams than 26th and I’ve not factored that in… (though last year OCC would have estimated too high on Boxing Day). But could be lower because of this year’s estimation.

Last year they got more than 200,000.

I can’t get my head around what it will be this year.

Very comfortably. I have it at #43

Ah thanks!

I thought it would still be there but I wasn't sure how high up it would be.

I just had a thought that Wham! might have finally overtaken their ancient rival Band Aid in the last week or two, which is also quite a moment.

In other news I think the Top 40 here will reshuffle a little but is now locked in - nothing will enter or leave.

Yes. They would have done. I made a post about it on Facebook that has been picked up by others and shared as their own (but it also shows you how quickly rumours can spread).

🤣🤣🤣🤣 but it’s true, it’s not false news. Just because the OCC haven’t announced it, doesn’t mean it’s false.

I believe you just pulling your leg 🤣🤣

Dakota recovering on Spotify while Another Love is lagging so might be very close between them! Wham on 395,569, don't even think it'll make top 50! Think Mariah is on around 360k

I’d quite like “Mutt” to hold on against the odds even though “Another Love” and “Dakota” are much better songs. It’s had much more staying power than most of the other 2025 hits of its size.

What It Sounds Like

Do we have 1 or 2 weeks of sales left can Taylor make top 30 , can Olivia make it as high as 7 ?

I know I’ve asked about this in the past 😆but do you think Billie will now just scrape a second million selling year after all?

And maybe for next year would Olivia be the most likely to achieve the same? Or would it still be Alex or Huntr/x?

Edited by Jaz13music

1 week we think.

No new entries as expected. Will see on Friday what has made way for Mariah and Wham!

How’s the danger zone looking Julian?

99 Dakota

100 Another Love

Wasn’t expecting Stereophonics already back ahead of Tom! Guess it’s between them and Leon for #100 next week then.

Locked in my final predictions for Friday, fingers crossed Golden can still overtake APT. Love Dakota but for freshness purposes I think I would prefer Mutt to make it out of the two, not 100% it will if it's now out of the R&B charts. Thanks once again for the weekly updates and estimates Julian!
