I’ve had a go at another rolling 12 month best sellers list, this time July ‘24 to June ‘25 (end of Q2).

Thanks again to you all on this thread for any data I’ve adapted.

I’m hoping the top 30 are fairly accurate but any corrections/comments are very welcome. In particular some of the sales totals are very close this time (particularly at the top) so any errors could easily affect the positions.

I struggled a bit more with trying to get accurate sales figures for positions 30-40 when a lot of the older songs become a factor, so if anyone can help with those I would be very grateful. I estimate Iris plus Carry You Home, maybe Red Wine Supernova and Dreams, and obviously Mr Brightside are in there somewhere!

1 Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe! 1.565m

2 Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather 1.561m

3 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso 1.551m

4 Benson Boone - Beautiful Things 1.430m

5 Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile 1.390m

6 Sabrina Carpenter - Taste 1.350m

7 Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please 1.317m

8 Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy) 1.293m

9 Rose & Bruno Mars - APT. 1.290m

10 Gracie Abrams - That’s So True 1.260m

11 Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club 1.260m

12 Teddy Swims - Lose Control 1.260m

13 Post Malone ft Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help 1.260m

14 Myles Smith - Stargazing 1.219m

15 Teddy Swims - The Door 1.118m

16 Lola Young - Messy 1.170m

17 Gigi Perez - Sailor Song 1.170m

18 Hozier - Too Sweet 1.168m

19 Alex Warren - Ordinary 1.096m

20 Noah Kahan - Stick Season 1.040m

21 Chappell Roan - Hot To Go 1.025m

22 Bl3ss & CamrinWatsin ft BbyClose - Kisses 1.000m

23 Dasha - Austin 0.959m

24 Sonny Fodera, Jazzy & D.O.D. - Somedays 0.880m

25 Billie Eilish - Wildflower 0.860m

26 Chrystal - The Days 0.850m

27 Gracie Abrams - I Love You, I’m Sorry 0.850m

28 Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us 0.824m

29 Sabrina Carpenter - Bad Chem 0.79m

30 Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams 0.77m

Interestingly the 2024 year end and the likely 2025 year end number ones are sitting together in the middle of the list, perhaps suggesting what I suspected, that a January to December list is no longer fully reflecting the biggest songs of the year in the streaming era.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in looking at this (or maybe it’s just me)? In the streaming era the EOY chart has appeared heavily biased towards songs released/peaking in the first ha

Just had a go at a full top 40, week 14 2024 to week 13 2025. You're pretty much bang on with your sales estimates, just had to change Hot To Go (it would've done a few sales in 2023 so its total woul

Just started working on a top 40 version of this, think these two are swapped but only just... Thanks again for sharing!

EDIT: ignore this, your post is right 😅

Here's my estimations, week 27 2024 to week 26 2025. I have a feeling "Last Christmas" could've made this list also but not 100% sure. A lot less fresh than the previous one we did!

Funny to see that top 2 - as well as neither of them reaching #1, they were also the top 2 in the EOY multichart (from Buzzjack personal charts) for 2024, and that despite neither having been a weekly multichart #1 too!

Thank you that’s great! Sorry, I got quite a few of my initial estimates wrong this time, so I’m very grateful for your help.

Great to see Good luck, Babe! get the number 1 though. Like you, I checked and double checked the figures with the feeling that it couldn’t be ahead of Billie since their positions seem to be reversed in all the other cumulative lists. As jimwatts says it’s odd to see a top 2 that didn’t reach a weekly number one. Reminds me of ‘Love The Way You Lie’ being end of year number 1 back in the day.

Sabrina’s great 12 months is reflected in 3 songs in the top 7 (4 in the top 30). Will her new album be as successful I wonder?

Hopefully if we do an end of Q3 list it will be a bit fresher though. Are we expecting Alex to have ascended to number 1 by then?

Looks pretty likely. There's a few newer hits that are on track to make the next rolling chart so hopefully it'll be fresher than this one.

Think I agree with most these rolling charts definitely look a lot better than the year end ones for now at least

😳 at “Perfect” entering instead of “Blessings”. The latter’s sales have been given every week and amount to 222k, so it must surely be #101.

I guess family matters and manchild can’t be too far away either so should be a lot of 2025 beginning to enter soon

That wouldve been pretty fun having such a close race for year-end #1!

Very surprised about Perfect- honestly thought Blessings would've overtaken Dakota as well!

Not sure if you've added it in past revisions @Julian_ but "Anxiety" did 2k sales the week before it charted, thinking its sales are a little higher

It isn’t gold yet right? So any understating is by a couple of k max.

How many for Mystical Magical please ? Thanks :)

Should get Blessings and Manchild in this week, Perfect straight back out with Another Love.
