Official Charts Report

Central Cee is ahead to score this week’s highest new entry. GBP featuring 21 Savage is predicted to debut at Number 7; it would become Cench’s 9th and 21 Savage’s 7th UK Top 10 hit.

Can Lola Young take Messy all the way to the top? At Number 2 midweek, she’s just over 1,100 chart units away from Gracie Abrams at Number 1. ROSÉ and Bruno Mars could also still be in with chance, at Number 3.

Chrystal’s The Days could be set to reach a brand new peak. It’s predicted to rise one to Number 4 come Friday, a huge new marker for the Bolton-born DJ.

Jimin’s Who is set to re-enter the Top 10 for a third non-consecutive week, right now up seven (6).

PAWSA’s 2024 remix of The Adventure of Stevie V’s Dirty Cash (Money Talks) continues to build – set to reach a brand new peak of Number 13.

Doechii’s DENIAL IS A RIVER could make its Top 20 debut this week (17), as could Alex Warren’s Carry You Home (19).

Finally, country sensation Sam Barber’s rising hit Indigo is set to jump 18 places to Number 21.

Was Gracie boosted by anything this week? Physicals etc? Otherwise I’m baffled
Quite surprised by Gracie's lead. Lola is ahead on Apple/Youtube now, so would expect a small gap compared to weeks prior. Gracie is ahead on Amazon though so maybe Amazon numbers are skewing things a bit?

Something feels off about this update - how is Gracie semi-comfortably ahead at this stage already when she was #3 at this stage last week and her position doesn't seem to have improved since then? Has she just picked up a lot on Amazon? (We're really not getting rid of this shite for a long time if so...) And ofc Jimin continuing to be an anomaly too, switching to less detectable bots I fear.

On a more positive but still perplexing note, I'm not sure how 'Indigo' seems to be suddenly jumping a lot when it was crawling up the chart for the last 2 weeks (again unless it's just a case of it starting to catch on more on Amazon).

Has Jimin physicals maybe? Cos his streams are not enough, he's outside the top 50 on both Spotify and Apple, and hes not showing up for me on Amazon

The top 3 is weird too, wasnt True also going to have physicals too?

Cos when she was doing 50% more than Apt/Messy she was @3 at this point

Now that the others have caught up, shes easily &1

Yeah perhaps this First Look had even less data than usual - Gracie being comfortably in the lead doesn’t feel right compared to last week’s early figures. As for Jimin, the title needs some brackets like “Who (Can Explain This)?”

maybe what they're doing with Jimin is streaming all the different Mixes

cos looking at the remixes on Spotify they all have similar super high figures around 30 million even the instrumental

and these versions don't show up on the top 200 but if you add them all up with the main version then that's why he's so high

otherwise I cannot see how

you need a high IQ to be a BTS fan/bot :D

Not accepting any Gracie hate, hopefully Apt and Messy both get their turn at number 1, but I don't get why she is taking Buzzjack's ire! Everybody has their faves but it seems to get so personal on here!

I think a certain amount of ire is understandable, as long as it’s in the right spirit. It’s a song that the majority on here don’t like very much. It has had 2 good stints at #1 already, and now it’s holding off 2 songs that most on here do like.

We took swift action a few weeks ago when someone said “I don’t want that wh*** Gracie at #1 again” which was not acceptable, and I think people mostly understand the boundaries. ;)

Buzzjack hates female singer-songwriters

the quintessential Buzzjack fave is Ava Max and Whatever Whatever :)
