Posted January 30Jan 30 Welcome to Round 6 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension II' survivor polls. After a pretty close battle we say goodbye to Edge of Saturday Night a collaboration between Kylie & American DJ & producer The Blessed Madonna. It was literally neck and neck over the last couple of days between this & 'Hello', but 'EOSN' edged out in front with 8 votes, while the former gained 6, which makes this the 3rd out of the 4 features to drop leaving only 'MR' left in the running. The song was released in October 2024 as the 3rd single from The Blessed Madonna's debut album 'Godspeed' & was later included on Kylie's 17 studio album 'Tension II' in a slightly different sound and arrangement. The song is a cute bop with a fun 90's house vibe running throughout served with some fantastic dance beats and of course Kylie's vocals sound fantastic as always. Actually didn't mind its inclusion on 'T2' & find it far better than 'My Oh My' & 'Dance Alone', both of which were very sub-par efforts. Right then guys for this round we are taking a break from the usual voting polls & instead we're having a ranking round seeing as though we are pretty much at the half way point. The rules are simply just ranked the seven remaining songs from best to worst, with the #1 song getting 7 points and the bottom ranked song will get 1 point and the song with the least amount of points will be out by the next round.
