February 14, 20251 yr Author Thank f*** for Lola Young...for now anyway. I don't see the appeal of Not Like Us at all, and if Apple Music's anything to go by, it hasn't even rid us of Drake, truly no benefits, I feel conned x Screwed over by the Thursday estimates, I don’t know what my TV license pays for Well it's not the BBC who make the chart so it's nothing to do with your TV licence x
February 14, 20251 yr Author  Future chart hit? Sabrina Carpenter Busy Woman 5th single from Short n' Sweet Released: 14th February 2025 Label: Island Records Video 3m6NBnqLc-g Biography Sabrina Carpenter has made the transition from teen-TV star to pop-dominating force look remarkably easy. It helps that the actor and singer-songwriter—born in 1999 in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania—pursued both sides of her career in tandem, releasing music while establishing a regular presence on the Disney Channel and through other acting gigs, including on Broadway. And on her first two albums—2015’s Eyes Wide Open and 2016’s EVOLution—Carpenter set herself apart from her teenage peers with her deft delivery and her eagerness to embrace plenty of dance music sounds. Singular Act I and Singular Act II—a two-part album that dropped in 2018 and 2019—provided yet more proof of her fast-developing abilities as a singer and songwriter who had moved past teen-star stereotypes to become a full-fledged club powerhouse. Later, Carpenter stepped back sonically to express herself more personally, as on the intimately acoustic “skinny dipping,” from her fifth album, emails i can’t send. Still, the sheer fun of it all has never waned. Just listen to one of the many ad-libbed outros in her live performances of the album’s pop hit “Nonsense,” or indeed the lyrical playfulness of “Espresso,” the flirty funk banger that became summer 2024’s defining hit—and which provided Carpenter’s official breakout moment. Next came the Jack Antonoff-produced “Please Please Please” (which became the summer’s second-biggest hit) and her sixth record Short n’ Sweet, a showcase of the most winking, witty music of Carpenter’s career so far. But if it saw the newly crowned pop princess take aim at past relationships, it also saw her take aim at herself. “A lot of what I really love about this album is the accountability,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I will call myself out just as much as I will call out someone else.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2021 28 Skin -NAS- 2023 32 Nonsense -1- 2023 19 Feather -2- 2023 16 A Nonsense Christmas -1- 2023 83 buy me presents -AT- 2024 01 Espresso -1- MILLIONAIRE 2024 01 Please Please Please -2- MILLIONAIRE 2024 01 Taste -3- 2024 06 Bed Chem -4- 2024 24 Juno -AT- 2025 00 Busy Woman -5- 3 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 6 x Top 20 | 9 x Top 40 | 10 x Top 100 Social Media Sabrina Carpenter
February 14, 20251 yr Author  Future chart hit? Anne-Marie Don't Panic 1st single from If You're Looking For A New Best Friend and 1st single from forthcoming studio album Released: 14th February 2025 Label: Island Records Video 5IqNNhiaB9U Biography Anne-Marie’s bold, booming voice has resonated around the world, both as a consummate dance-music collaborator and a brassy pop powerhouse. Born Anne-Marie Nicholson in Essex, England, in 1991, the singer/songwriter never thought she’d make it far beyond her small village, but she was already making waves in London as a child, performing in prestigious West End theater productions and becoming a karate world champion. Such ambitions undoubtedly helped prepare her for major festival stages—which she’d soon dominate as a rising vocalist in the electronic music world. After being discovered by Elton John’s management company, Rocket Music, in 2013, Anne-Marie lent her skyscraping vocals to tracks by dubstep/DJ supergroup Magnetic Man, garage duo Gorgon City, and drum ‘n’ bass hitmakers Rudimental, who invited her to guest on their 2015 album We the Generation and join their extensive world tour. Going forward, she’s been a go-to vocalist and songwriter, pairing up with artists like Snakehips, James Arthur, Nick Jonas, David Guetta, and Lauv. But her biggest breakthrough came in 2016 with Clean Bandit, whose single “Rockabye” with dancehall superstar Sean Paul became a multi-platinum global smash, largely thanks to Anne-Marie’s honeyed croons and playful lyrics, which offer an empowering twist on single motherhood. Since releasing her 2018 debut album, Speak Your Mind, the singer has been building up an enviable catalog of self-love odes (“Perfect to Me”), sassy club bangers (Marshmello collab “FRIENDS”), nostalgic pop love songs (“2002,” co-written with Ed Sheeran), and throbbing coming-of-age anthems (the Doja Cat-featuring “To Be Young”). Even as a solo star, she continues to have no qualms about sharing the spotlight. “I just think collaborations are beautiful,” she told Apple Music. “I don’t think collaborations will ever stop with me.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2015 67 Rumour Mill (Rudimental feat. February 14, 20251 yr Not like us is such a tune. Shame it couldn’t quite make it to the top. Messy is still and incredible song though so not complaining in that sense, just would’ve been nice to have a new no1 and an interesting one at that
February 14, 20251 yr And could Sabrina stop singing like a 5-year-old girl? She turns 26 in May. Edited February 14, 20251 yr by Adelita
February 14, 20251 yr Aw so close for Kendrick. Next week #1 instead please? :cheer: Happy to see Gaga #3
February 14, 20251 yr Loo that’s a joke, the fact that Thursday streams are just a guess! For sure he was and is bigger than her this week. I don’t think he’ll do it next week, he has zero playlist support all across the board because luther gets all the attention as it is the (amazing) current single.
February 14, 20251 yr New peaks and new entries outside the top 40: 50. The Marías - No One Noticed (+5) 53. Rema - Baby (Is It A Crime) (NEW) 56. February 14, 20251 yr This big support for Kendrick here surprises me a bit. If it was some 10 years ago, it would have been rarer back then, surely?
February 14, 20251 yr 5 weeks at number 16 for WILDFLOWER. What is the record for most weeks at that position? Late but I stopped tracking most weeks at each position (non-peak) a while ago, however I believe it has equalled the record of 5 weeks at #16, alongside these: Lumineers - Ho Hey Sam Smith - Stay With Me Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone Showstoppers - Ain't Nothin' But A Houseparty Tate McRae - She's All I Wanna Be
February 15, 20251 yr I knew Kendrick wouldn't make it all the way but still good result let's see what happens this week if he can maintain doing 700K daily on Spotify, then it's his
February 15, 20251 yr Boo at Kendrick stopping Pink Pony Club from outpeaking Hot To Go Nope that’ll be Chappell not being streamed as much! This was rightfully going to be Gaga's highest solo song since 'Bad Romance', and one of the absolute worst songs I heard last year has swooped back in from nowhere and stolen that from her. I am so FURIOUSLY pissed off like you wouldn't believe. I mean it’s been available for only 12 days and so could peak in future weeks still. And ‘Not Like Us’ simply was more popular this week just accept it.
