No 'Please Please Please' yet... but presumably because it will be reset on Friday's chart and make an appearance in the top 10?

Depends on if it gets a 25% increase (which it should!)

Well it got 290k YouTube for the whole of last week and already surpassed that in one day. It got 1.2 million streams for the week on Spotify and already has 800k in two days so the 25% is guaranteed.

Kendrick is miles and does deserve a UK #1 for his service to music. Drake isn’t the force he once was and probably will struggle for two in the top 20 by Friday.

Abracadabra is holding up better than expected with next weeks #1 up for grabs

Yeah the reset won’t have shown up yet, though I would be shocked if it didn’t get one come Friday

Wow... Well that was a First Look worth missing!!
I think the chart on Friday will look a fair bit different to this, Doechii will definitely be back in the top 20 (probably closer to the top 10 than anything).

I agree. In the meantime, seven new Top 20 entries would be the most since Ed Sheeran placed 13 tracks in the Top 20 in March 2017.

I'd assume busy woman will fall below Chappel as the week goes on and she might still have a chance of getting top 3
Intrigued to see where the PND/Drake album lands today. The last Drake album (solo or collaborative) to miss the top 2 was 2011’s Take Care. :o

Just checked and these are the first week sales for Drake's latest:

SEP’2021: 45,651 Drake - Certified Lover Boy [2,028 downloads, 43,623 streaming sales]

JUNE’2022: 27,123 Drake - Honestly, Nevermind [688 downloads, 26,435 streaming]

NOV’2022: 36,194 Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss [489 downloads, 35,705 streaming]

OCT’2023 29,408 Drake - For All the Dogs [455 downloads, 28,953 streaming]

Manics won't get it now but I may aid their cause just to keep them ahead of Drake

they also have a competition on their website, you can win a meet'n'greet and tickets if you order the album. In small print it says No purchase necessary.

I'm not as impressed by the Manics album as I was hoping to be, but I'd still like them to get the #1. Can't believe that a band of their stature have only ever have two #1 albums, that doesn't feel right!
Hope Manics can keep pushing for that Number 1, but I feel they'll lose out. Hope Wombats can stay Top 5, surprised to see them ahead of PND & Drake, but happy to see it.
It’s bad enough having 1 Kendrick song in the top 10 but it’s worse having 3 Kendrick songs in the top 10 with one of them that should’ve been left behind in 2018
Extra Drakes keeping out Who (41), CRG (42) and Sailor Song (43) so even if they are left in we're probably not losing any new hits.
