March 14Mar 14 I think it's quite good, obviously not the direction she probably should have gone to atm but it's still fine for me.
March 14Mar 14 I could see this #1 next week, possibly.Pink Pony Club did below 40k in sales this week!!!
March 15Mar 15 If Chappell Roan is your favourite new release this week, be sure to vote for it in this week's Pop Track of the Week!
March 16Mar 16 Still not totally loving this but a gay country song potentially going to #1 in the US is a bit of a gag. Wasn’t it only a few years ago Little Big Town faced backlash for their much tamer Girl Crush? 😲

March 16Mar 16 Fallen dramatically to #8, but still the most-streamed song of the week so far. It has done 1,066,527 streams on Spotify UK since Friday. "Ordinary" by Alex Warren is the second-biggest streamer of the week so far with 905,245 streams. Edited March 16Mar 16 by DanielsAloud
March 17Mar 17 Ive played this a few times now and i remain unsure, wasnt what i was epxecting but it lacks that standout something that nearly all of her other songs have,
March 18Mar 18 I don’t know why this seems to be such a marmite song. Whilst it’s quite a different sound to her previous material, it still has that catchy melody and tongue in cheek lyric you would associate with Chappell. I’ve found it quite instant and can’t get it out of my head. Hope it goes to #1.
March 19Mar 19 This is getting WAY too much stick here! I'm not saying it's my favourite of hers, but it's camp, catchy, poppy, with her stamp of comedy and playfulness in the lyricism to make it feel like a Chappell song even if she's never done anything country before. I really enjoy that I feel like she's just recording what she wants, instead of chasing a hit or trying to intentionally capitalise on a big moment for her. Obviously, following Good Luck Babe, I can understand people wanting a more epic moment than this. But I think this is just part of illustrating what a diverse & exciting artist she is. I have no doubt she could still give us something as good as GLB, I don't think this is a sign of her having shed any of that artistry.I've had the tune of this in my head all week and I think it'll grow on people.
