Clearly I'm not the same person I was this morning as I'm very drawn to giving it another shot. I don't know if the drops/instrumentals will grow on me but the production outside of that and Calvin's vocals are good.

The mix doesn't really feel finished? It sounds a bit like a high schooler's music project playing around with the preset keyboards.

This sounds like a party track for people in their forties like myself. 😅

#35 in Monday's midweeks so will most likely miss the top 40. Not too surprising I guess!

I'm not sure about this on first listen. I really enjoy Calvin's music but I'm not a fan of his vocals. Country is one of my least favourite genres too so I'm struggling with this trend

Don't think it's THAT bad

He's had loads of absolute shockers over the years, this is just another one to add to that pile.

Started very promising with that heavy bassline but didn't really build on it. He's definitely done a lot worse though.

This sort of came and went, right? However, I agree that this is far of being one of his worst tracks.

The extended version of the song, at least, includes an instrumental section that might be interesting. 😅
