I think the Spotify numbers will be higher but I don't think it will be number 1 this week, as I predicted (and still might be wrong) a few days ago that it won't be as gigantic as people think.

Not blown away by any of the ‘big’ new releases this week really - Sugababes and Tom Grennan were probably my favourite of the releases that might trouble the T100.

Think she should have waited until PPC resided a bit!

Knowing Chappell’s career trajectory though, some other song from her album would have blown up out of nowhere, she seems to go viral with everything.

I don’t think she could have waited forever, as it is it’s her first new release in nearly a year. She must be so eager to get new stuff out by now, some of the songs on her album are half a decade old.

However well or not The Giver does this week, it will probably have a second wind in about six months time regardless 😂 country songs have a tendency to have legs in the charts here as people can take longer to warm up to them and radio pick them up more gradually over time.

I’m really into it myself so I hope it is a decent hit.

Looks like Carti is probably going to overtake the giver soon(on Apple at least) it’s hard to say overall though as rap albums always do better on Apple than Spotify

The Giver in at #6 on Amazon, thats a huge huge huge start, takes days doe songs to even appear in the top 50 usually
