I really hope Chappell holds on, just for the novelty of having an artist knock themselves off of #1! Ordinary is almost defo getting it in future anyway so really hope she clinches it. I really like it as a song too!

  • I don't particularly like Carti but I see quite a bit of unnecessary hostility on here towards almost any rap song & artist that does well on the charts. If it was purely directed towards Carti I

  • If it weren’t for Chappell, we’d be having some shitty rap song going #1

  • imagine how different the reactions on here would be if the positions were swapped and someone said "If it weren't for Carti, we'd be having some shitty country song going #1" lol

Gave 'Ordinary' a listen because of all the comments. Like it on first listen but dont love it. A grower maybe?

Wouldn't mind Chappel getting it this week , doesn't look like anything g huge coming in the next few weeks so Alex gonna get there anyway

Plus the Giver has grown on me the more I play it even if it doesn't feel like Chappel

I'd actually prefer Alex at #01 over Chappell.

I truly don't want to hear 'The Giver' again in my life.

I love her but it's not a good song, shame she's getting another easy number 1.

Also, he has still over 125K lead over her, so yes she gained but he keep the momentum and 1 VS 9 on AM. I do think her gap is too big but it's not like she's doing something very out of the blue numbers.

Nice to see Chappell closing the gap on Alex. I hope it’s enough for her to hold onto #1 by Friday

Sleep Token is climbing in the US too, up to #26 there. It's very impressive! Never thought a 6-minute long rock song would do so well these days.

Such an amazing song.

Pretty good rise for the giver, personally I think it has longevity. Ordinary still huge fav for #1 though this week

Didn't realise Feel It was having a second wind! Would be great to see it make top 40, loved it in Invincible.

Do we expect anything from the new Yungblud song? I think it's superb, best thing he's done since his debut. But a 9-minute rock song released on a Tuesday suggests he's not prioritising chart performance.

Big drops for Playboi Carti.

Nice climb for 'like JENNI' up to 73 and close to re-peaking

sombr - back to friends up to a new peak of 92

HAIM re-enter at 181

ROLE MODEL - Sally, When The Wine Runs Out new at 197

Alex is climbing way too fast in numbers, even with Chappell stabilising I think he’ll still take it this week. He’s up 160k on the same day last week

He has every single day apart from the weekend at least 120K gap, and today it's already 180K.

He's number 1 on AM for most of the week, she's down to 10 there, he's above her on Amazon, she doesn't have a video... I don't know how the gap is or was so big in her favor, for sure his numbers are much bigger when you combine all week.

Ordinary might get the biggest sales week of the year so far if it keeps on climbing like this. Put some respect on Alex’s name
