Looking at 3 weeks in the UK top 3 and it's not doing well cheeseblock

Ok ok ok, to do 200-230k a day that’s doing well?!?!?

People here are so insane to think that. Sure, it’s doing amazing. AMAZING!!!

It’s on 175K today, do you realize how low it is? And keep falling on AM and we’re not even 3 weeks in, after the biggest festival in the world promo, 2 videos and tons of promo all over the country.

Yes, a smash! Keep lying to yourself. 🤣🤣

I'll ask down my local tonight why ordinary streams are down

Not to pile on more, but do think in general it's a folly to only stick to the subsidiary chart that best presents the narrative. Last week the song was #5 on the official streaming chart but only #14

The reaching is unreal, I'm baffled as to why you're so keen to paint this as a flop.

Also it's up 1 from the past 24 hours on Apple Music according to Kworb, to a very floppy #4.

But the apart from the no1 nothing else is doing great numbers. It’s also not ‘keeping falling on AM’ it’s been consistently top 5 there.

It is a flop. The numbers don’t lie, not in the US top 200 since forever, doing bad WW and it’s doing “amazing” only because all the song are on ACR. He’s #22 on Spotify,

A smash. Enjoy I’m done fighting :)

I also wouldn’t rule out a week at no1 when the cds strategically come out.

I'm only talking about the UK because this is the UK Charts forum, but it's #3 in the chart right now. For a second week, with a third seeming likely. I don't understand how that's any kind of flop, and I think it's absolutely ludicrous to suggest it is. But okay, die on that hill if you're that desperate to...!

Ed always gets his way so it'll be number one when Ordinary finally goes ACR and he sends out his army of CDs. It's not a flop

I don't get why you're so obsessed with this or been so determined to make a "fight" out of it from the beginning. It's like you have some weird determination to prove people wrong over something which is so utterly trivial - it just makes you look childish, petty and really quite arrogant.

Why do you even care this much? lol

Last week the song was #5 on the official streaming chart but only #14 on Spotify's weekly chart, that to me suggests a differential that warrants using better observation for tracking this. Spotify's a pretty good shorthand and it gives us numbers, but it's not the whole story.

"Azizam" is up to a new peak of #2 on Amazon if that makes anyone feel better.

Some others on Amazon at new peaks or re-peaking:

#6. Jack Black - "Steve's Lava Chicken"

#22. Ariana Grande - "Twlight Zone"

#26. sombr - "undressed"

#28. Ravyn Lenae - "Love Me Not"

#31. Miley Cyrus - "End of the World"

#39. sombr - "back to friends"

#36. Shaboozey & Myles Smith - "Blink Twice"

#45. Ely Oaks - "Running Around"

#64. Lola Young - "Conceited"

#67. Rachel Chinouriri - "All I Ever Asked" (climbed to new peak of #58 in most recent chart, future top 40 hit coming? I really like it!).

#88. James Hype - "Don't Wake Me Up"

#150. Addison Rae - "Headphones On"

It's currently sitting at number 3 midweek for a potential 3rd week , and I doubt it will fall out of top 10 🤣🤣

Not the Amazon chart looking more fresh than Spotify 🤣

What was the last song that debuted in the top three then spent its second week there and quite likely third too?

Unless I’m wrong it was taste SEVEN months ago. Yet Ed is flopping with the most consistent hit from debut this year? Huh?

The phreshness qe are not worthy 😱

Amazon is indeed looking fresher than Spotify at the top ends right now.

It was indeed (although 'APT.' came close).

If Amazon properly combined songs into 1 version (3 versions of "Anxiety" in the top 100 for instance) it would likely be the freshest chart out of the 3 main ones currently - Spotify/Apple/Amazon.

‘All I Ever Asked’ was the standout when I first listened to Rachel’s album this time last year so great to see it gaining traction.

Is it the playlisting there or random?

I’ve also been trying to remember the last British single to spend three weeks in the top three from debut (assuming Ed makes it three on Friday). Was it Sprinter?

Whatever it is, it’s an extremely rare feat anyway these days when British acts are having a much harder time in the charts, and certainly the complete opposite of a flop in the modern charts.

Whatever way you want to look at it for Ed to be down at 22 after 17 days is not great. Shape of you was still doing 900k+ after 17 days
