They also think the way she talks is put on and she’s scruffy basically view her as an industry plant and once the internet sees you as fair game for abuse they tend to go too far and have no sense

A lot of people seem to be upset that she's "posing as middle class" when she went to the BRIT school. Can understand the frustration from people who believe the only way to get big in British music is to come from a privileged background but they shouldn't take it out on successful artists...

Hence the recent popularity of Skye Newman I suppose with her working-class credentials.

Most people seem to mis-assume that the BRIT school is an expensive fee paying school, when it’s actually a state school with a talent/audition based placement process.
