Come on Louise!! I really want her new album, Confessions, to go Top 10. It’s a really great pop album and people need to check it out!

  • Damn. I was wondering what #1 would be

  • If I were an artist I’d rather be fair to my fans than do things like that just for a few higher places on the chart. If it was for #1 then maybe

Ordinary will be one of the worst birthday number ones for me. The others being Robson & Jerome’s version of Unchained Melody, Fugees’ version of Killing Me Softly, Ignition Remix, Blurred Lines and One Dance

You’ve had some of the biggest hits

New entries outside the Top 40 in the update:

48 Nathan Dawe / Shayan - Over You

65 Renée Rapp - Leave Me Alone

76 Burna Boy feat. Travis Scott - TaTaTa

The three Eurovision songs from last week's Top 40 are still Top 75, but in the opposite order.

FYI - I probably won't be home until 6:30 - 6:45 today, the MW update is normally freshly in around that time these days, so I'll get on it as soon as I'm in, apologies in advance for the delay!

I’m sorry but that Alex Warren song is boring. Need someone like Sabrina Carpenter to bring out a single asap

I'd be suprised with new sabrina is released this year considering how well SNS is still doing, could be wrong though she has been mentored partially by Taylor

From MW ahead of the Mod update

Alex Warren is racing towards another No.1 finish in the singles chart this week with Ordinary, which has racked up 36,607 sales so far ahead of Chappell Roan, who is holding firmly onto second place with Pink Pony Club, which has 21,780 sales so far.

Ravyn Lenae continues to follow behind in third place with Love Me Not (20,538 sales), whilst Sombr sits at No.4 with Undressed (18,295 sales) and WizTheMC and Bees & Honey’s Show Me Love (17,600 sales) completes the Top 5.

In the albums chart, meanwhile, Sparks continue to target the top spot with Mad!, which has 7,917 sales so far ahead of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet (5,752 sales). Mad! continues to be boosted by its physical release, which accounts for 7,528 units, whilst downloads make up 291 sales and 98 are derived from streams.

When Rivers Meet hold third place with Addicted To You (5,648 sales), whilst Skunk Anansie’s The Painful Truth sits at No.4 with 5,549 sales. In fifth place, Ed Sheeran’s Tour Collection has 5,176 sales.

All the top 5 singles on lower sales than this time last week then, although some may have declined by less than the market which will surely be down a bit.

Ordinary will for sure be DCL-2 but if it rises again next week then it could get to 16 weeks

Gonna be close in albums sabrina could extend her number 2 record or might just pip at last second, Ed back up to 3 most likely though

Hopefully Alex's fans support his new one instead next week and we have a 3rd week of decline saying that he could even still be number 1 on acr with how low the sales of the others are

Such a low week the Thursday estimates might be low so Sparks will probably hold on

I'm really hoping that Orbital 2 actually manages to get a new peak this week, one of the classic electronic albums of the 90s <3
