I also wasn’t blown away by the first listen and found it to be quite similar throughout! I’ll give it another chance but there’s not much that jumped out to me but I’d say House Tour and Goodbye are my highlights.

I still think it’ll be a success for her though maybe not on the scale of Short and Sweet but I think it’s easily gonna be another #1 for her and I think shes an exception where she’ll manage a post album smash.

I hope after this era and the promotional cycles done she takes a break and comes back with something different though! I think she has it in her to do as she’s pretty clued up and smart. I’d love her to use her vocals more effectively like in a Christina Back to Basics esque way.

I mean, if her marketing team wanted people to get talking about this album QUICKLY, then they’ve done a great job. My Twitter feed is just flooded with discourse about the album cover. The thing is

Its not a replica, it's a reference. The photo she's referencing is a lively dance floor where Marilyn and her husband are in full embrace looking at the same thing in the distance. In Sabrina's cover

I'm ALL IN on this album. I'm loving it more and more. bar a brief period yesterday where I had time to kill so listened to Nova Twins and Ava's newest albums, it's all I've been playing over the last 24 hours. My vinyl came today too & I love that the artcard was a big artcard and mine is slightly smudged (which I am OK with!!)

My updated ranking right now after several plays of the album from start to finish:

01 [08] House Tour

02 [01] My Man on Willpower

03 [02] Nobody's Son

04 [04] Go Go Juice

05 [03] When Did You Get So Hot?

06 [07] Goodbye

07 [05] Tears

08 [04] Manchild

09 [09] We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night

10 [10] Sugar Talking

11 [11] Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry

12 [12] Never Getting Laid

I LOOOOOVE the top 7. 'Manchild' is fun. The last 4 are cute, but away from the album I doubt I'll go back to them much.

Also, I want to give extra mention and love to 'Goodbye'. What a great closer! I love the ABBA-lite piano bits.

Very very impressive, but lowkey I expected something like this. You don't maintain top 5 for 46 weeks without constantly gaining new fans, and then they show up en masse for the next album along with anyone curious about the album. I'm really interested to see how it maintains through the week. Personally, it's only gotten stronger for me

I can see My Man On Willpower being chosen as the third single from the album

The thing that impresses me the most is that ‘Manchild’ is track 1 so aside from ‘Tears’ I assumed that would be a comfortable 2nd place but ‘My Man on Willpower’ overtook it… a lot of people I assume started straight from ‘Tears’ and had it lead into the rest of the album etc.. (alongside the additional playlist push ‘Tears’ got etc..)

Update on Tuesday is going to be interesting to see which tracks overtake each other across the weekend as people start distinguishing their favourites. I really do think ‘House Tour’ will be up there but COME ON MMOW PLEEEEASE remain in her top 3 from the album to chart!

Hope ‘Nobody’s Son’ and ‘When Did You Get So Hot?’ Can overtake ‘Sugar Talking’ (and ‘Manchild’ but that’ll be a bigger task!)

Yeah they are more interesting songs imo!

Everything still top 25 on UK Spotify! Great hold for a Saturday update! 'Tears' is down to #2 ('Man I Need' by Olivia Dean is back at #1) but Sabrina's close.

2nd day Sabrina:

02 [01] Tears 548,807 -39.36%

04 [04] Manchild 445,943 -25.18%

05 [03] My Man on Willpower 385,356 -37.93%

07 [07] When Did You Get Hot? 344,765 -32.84%

08 [05] Sugar Talking 340,896 -39.38%

09 [10] Go Go Juice 335,801 -31.13%

11 [12] House Tour 325,996 -26.93%

12 [06] Nobody's Son 325,640 -36.65%

14 [13] Goodbye 308,778 -26.66%

15 [08] We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night 305,053 -40.55%

17 [11] Never Getting Laid 286,978 -39.54%

24 [14] Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry 249,717 -38.47%

4,203,730 [6,459,880] -34.93%

Nice hold. LOOOOVE that 'Goodbye' is holding up as well as it is!

Oh wow, Sabrina has become a massive letdown in record time!!

If you’re going to release a reissue, or start a new era, it’s because your new material is much stronger than the previous one, right? So I don’t get how she put out this album that feels like leftovers from the last one, and not a single track sounds like it’s going to be a massive hit.

I think she, or her team, didn’t know how to handle the success of the previous era. I still don’t understand why she didn’t release Juno as a single — it could’ve easily given her another number one. Instead, she rushed into the reissue with Busy Woman that adds nothing, and more recently Manchild, which honestly feels like a B-side from the last era.

If she felt inspired and wanted to release this album, then I’ve got nothing to say. But if what she was aiming for was more success to solidify her career, this is going to hurt her. This record doesn’t have a single hit, it won’t connect with the general public, and people are going to start talking about a FLOP. Rushing things is never a good idea, Sabrina!

This is silly. You know it already had a #1 right? Virtually guaranteed another top 3. Also, Juno's peak was outside the top 10 even when starred out, saying it was guaranteed a #1 when it was only the 7th highest peak of any SnS song is crazy work. And at least in America (since UK doesnt have as many numbers available yet), early numbers indicate week 1 will be another SnS level success.

You can dislike the album, plenty have, plenty disliked SnS too. But to deny that this album has already shown massive amounts of success is wild.

Goodbye could easily be another single imo. It's got that good energy you want from a moving on song

Tears is the most listened to song globally on YouTube and Spotify according to Kworb.

The album has already broken several records. Its a success numbers wise.

It's just come off the back of SNS that been high on the charts for almost a year it was gonna do better first few days and break records, its staying power will be more interesting
