Great result for Bodo/Glimt - what a way to get your first Champions League win!

  • Also a great goal from Van de Ven scored after running from near Tottenham's penalty area right up to the other end of the pitch. A good week for special Champions League goals!

Mourinho plunging to new depths last night with his comments, the man is so desperate to always remain centre of attention and make it all about him. Basically the Trump of football these days.

Also can't believe he has the gall to call out Vini Jr for celebrating "disrespectfully" when this was the same man who once upon a time did a 100m run and kneeslide down the Old Trafford touchline (and not when he was United manager)...

Atalanta v Bayern Munich

Newcastle United v Barcelona

Atletico Madrid v Tottenham Hotspur

Igor Tudor substituting the goalkeeper for Tottenham Antonin Kinsky after 17 mins after two mistakes he made that led to goals for Atletico Madrid. With his managerial style the players confidence levels can only go down as the season progresses.

That's brutal.

After such a start coming away with a 5-2 defeat will feel like a result!

Crazy stuff from Tudor there but in his defence the way that keeper was playing it could have been 10-1 at half time...

Bayern Munich probably look like the most dangerous team left in the competition at the moment and they can afford to really prioritise this as they are 11 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.

England's coefficient about to take an absolute battering.

It’s 99% confirmed England will get the 5th placed team this season again despite this week

We were discussing the possibility of Tottenham winning the Champions League and being relegated in the staffroom earlier this week. I think we can now assume that won't happen. However, if Nottm Forest win the Europa League, they will qualify for the Champions League. If they do that and are relegated, they will really struggle with the number of fixtures, particularly as Champions League weeks sometimes coincide with a Championship midweek programme.

Was the same with Birmingham in 2012 and Wigan in 2013. Both playing Europa League games in the Championship. In fact B'ham had a bunch of pre-qualifying rounds on top and I remember them having about 6 games in hand in the league at one point.

Is there any point us winning tonight when we have PSG and the. Potentially Real or Bayern….

If we play like we did tonight we can beat anyone. Think the shift in formation suited us a lot. Also the first game I've seen us play well in for more than 45 minutes!

Will all depend how we play away from home.

First leg is away isn’t it? Although we won in Paris last year.
