Only 1 game on Boxing Day, a 2 day gap between half of the New Years' fixtures and a load of mid-week rounds all in a row after weeks of not having any!

It must be exhausting for the players, wonder if this a World Cup related thing? it genuinely feels like there are Premier League matches every day during this festive period. I don't remember it being as intense as this before.

In years gone by this weekends fixtures woulda been the fa cup 3rd round.
