They've done a really stellar job haven't they, there are only about five songs from that list I'd be bothered to see included above what's on Final Chapter and most of those are from PSB and Bruce anyway.

Bravo Now, the best tracklist to date?

So what if one day they got the licence for a big name like David Bowie or Prince... would they go as far as remaking this whole thing again using the already acquired licenses for songs on this collection?

I always wondered if we would see Michael Jackson's biggest hits appear in the series. Seems they found a way to get Thriller a while back. May even have seen Billie Jean make an appearance one time.

I'd imagine they would go back to the 100 hits comps they used to do

Yes they have quite happy with that tracklist. Good they have the rights to Heart again.

Wuite like the final chapter - will definitely buy it. What I found strange that they couldn't put the name Terence Trent D'Arby as this was the alias it was released under and not the new name.

@nowmusic1993 do you think you could come up with a collection of 80s hits that have (so far) been omitted from the Yearbook series? I'm sure some of us could assist with coming up with artist names and hits, but you're looking at including big names like Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson and David Bowie to name a few. I think it would be really interesting to see just what quality they can no longer license for these compendiums that are supposed to highlight the biggest hits that defined the years.

Perhaps they have stipulated that if they're going to be included then their current name gets credited. Something similar happening with the Eurythmics credits, as far as I know.

Sananda Maitreya is his birth name so he’s going by his birth name rather than his stage name Terence Trent D'Arby

S Club 7 are now known just as S Club on all new compilations, even for songs released under the name S Club 7 (which was most of their hits). The wonderful world of licensing and crediting.

Extra 1991 only reached number 5 on the compilation chart. It would have probably peaked higher with more sales if it had a digital release

Does anyone download these compilations though?

Some people do especially ones who don’t own a CD player. When it comes to MOS albums, I always download them because I like the songs individual rather than joining onto each other

I buy the MOS albums on Amazon every year as you get the standard mix CD and also get free access to Autorip the unmixed album.

I also noticed that not a lot of websites were able to get their hands on it ready for preorder. I had issues with Rarewaves (I use as an alternative to Amazon or HMV) so had to preorder via Amazon on this occasion.

But yeah, I agree that people weren't able to download it either, which have had an impact on sales. I think digital is a good alternative for those who haven't got the physical space.

Makes me wonder if there was some song on it that couldn’t be cleared for digital release but was ok for physical release although usually Apple just make it ‘album only’ in that case.

I still find it odd that the main Yearbook albums and Vaults both get the deluxe treatment but the Extras don’t. As the Extras generally feature much bigger hits than Vault, it would be interesting to see write-ups for them. I suppose though it’s because the Extras series pre-dates the Vaults so they can’t easily make them into a hardback format halfway through the series without doing a load of re-releases for older volumes, which may not even be possible now for the early volumes knowing the wonderful changing world of licensing.

Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but BRAVO Hits 132 will release on February 13. No cover art yet, unfortunately.

I've missed seeing these! Another fine collection and in a suit shop of all places! What a unique idea haha.

That’s what I miss with the series! Artwork that you’d never be able to guess rather than the generic seasonal designs.
